Martell is a bad little rabbit. We all compare him to manziel.

But I really can't get past the fact that the kid cannot throw that well.

I had this opinion formulated before he transferred, and I'm supposed to act like I never thought of it?

What if this is nothing more than a 3 start qb transfer? Can the little fella hit a receiver 40 yards deep on the outside shoulder? Can he hit a 15 yard dig like Jacory? Anything besides a 10 yard hitch?

idk man, but I definitely think the kid cannot throw that well. And now I'm questioning myself as to why I was happy anyways. Who knows, maybe the kid developed.

There's a very good chance Jarren takes and runs with this position.

WTF are you talking about Martell can't throw? His arm is legit af. Many of the passes he has thrown are insane and NFL throws. His arm is of zero concern to me. He has the best arm of any Miami QB sans Morris we have had in a long time.

If you mean he is raw then I agree but he has all the tools to be a great passer . His talent level is above any QB we have had in 20 years.

There is a reason many OSU fans think he was the most talented QB on the roster including the guy who is about to be a top 10 pick.

Second play in the video, about 18 seconds in he throws it from the 45 almost opposite hash about 5-6 yards deep in the endzone in the air on a jump ball. Pretty sure he has enough of an arm to get things done here.

His arm is pretty good watch some highlights. I was a Nkosi fan but his arm was not as advertised remember the int's vs UVA & Wisky. I let me eyes tells me if he has a strong arm or not

Dude doesn't have a generational arm talent like Tua or Justin Fields, but idk about no throwing talent: 22/28 as a college QB. Watch his highlight tape and it's literally littered with balls that travel 45-50 yards in the air on a rope and are on point. He seems to be very accurate and have a solid arm. My concern might be that he is slow going through progressions. If that's the case, in theory at least he has the ability to regularly buy himself more time to find the right throw (ie Johnny Manziels entire college career)

I definitely defer to guys with a better grasp of QB scouting -- paging @Roman Marciante

That's what Enos is here for. Manny didn't just want a guy that could call plays, he wanted a guy that could actually develop the QB position year in and year out.

Because OP wanted something to ***** about even if it was provably false.
Yea that statement wasn't worded correctly, he knows how to throw the ball well, just doesn't have the greatest arm strength you would expect from a QB recruit rated as high as he was

Yea. I mean he's not gonna be a Jamarcus Russel type and throw 80 yards from his knee. It's strong enough though and as long as he throws it to the right jersey color and at a high percentage he will be fine.

Martell threw for 7,507 yards and 113 touchdowns, with nine interceptions, in his three seasons, according to MaxPreps.com.

Don't know if I have ever seen a better TD to INT ratio.
