I don’t see how 5’s performance was so bad last yr. yea he threw picks and struggled throwing a catchable short pass... but he also threw us into Ws I don’t think 15 will do that... he hasn’t taken the risk and that’s what we all are complaining about yea it sounds cool to not have the int. so far but he actually had a few dropped. Idk if Enos is telling him not to or he’s not seeing it or maybe he isn’t confident in the deep/risky ball but we have to move down field faster.... those short routes will not be there moving forward.

He didn't throw a ton of picks. He had 13tds and 6 picks. The biggest issue was the inaccuracy.

Exactly that’s what I m saying ...,, but that comes with him being young , he has that dog in him and I would like to see a few more series out of him under this Enos play book

He has that dog in him based on what? I dont Really get the statement. Perry is definitely going to play if Jarren keeps getting hit like he did the first 4 games

Go back an watch the film( his highlights are pretty decent)... times that the run was available he did it, times when the post was there he threw it ..... ran out of tackles and still made plays down field .... let’s not act like the guy didn’t ball when it was available. We re saying the O was bad under CMR the best way to see how good the new O really is, is to see a guy run it that ran the last O. You can’t tell me that you’re ok with 7 TDs in 4 games is good enough for you.

Nkosi has several stretches of that last year in his redshirt freshman season but i guess We are going to pretend and act like that’s only Jarren . I guess we have 2 different definitions of “balling” then

Again as stated in my original post if we re saying the O last yr was bad and this yr O is better why not see what the QB that ran the O last yr can do in it also... I never said anything about 15 not being good but him like 5 last yr is a first year starter only difference is he has been told that the job is his out right were as 5 only started 6games not knowing if he would be pulled but help beat our in state rival and two of our division rivals ... until you can prove that it didn’t happen idk what else to say

What’s the point in benching Williams to coddle some n’kosi Perry fans though? He has done nothing to deserve being benched or sat. Williams isn’t the reason we lost the first 2 games. Let’s let this guy progress, you don’t get any better by not playing

He hasn’t and he also hasn’t done enough for us to win those games per our OC .... nothing wrong with letting him sit a few drives who cares if some 15 fan wet their undies or get emotional about him sitting and regrouping ..... it’s not about either QB but we will be losing more games if we score 17 points again
 
I don't think Jarren is the problem. National Podcast I listen to all say Jarren is the goods. Sometimes our passion blurs our opinion but that is just my opinion.

What the **** is perry? Give Williams the same time y’all gave Perry. This is what you are clamoring for, cut the bullsh*t. And for the record, if we had last years defense we don’t lose uf or unc game so you can’t tell me nothing about that. Yeah the playcalling is a bit better but still cheeks in the redzone however Perry’s oline in 2018 was much better behind the one Williams is playing behind now

If the offensive system and staff were the same then your position of posting stats would be valid. But they are not the same and JW hasn't had to be concerned whether a bad series here or there would get him yanked. Who wants a qb more concerned about not turning it over than being a gamer and doing what it takes to get the W. And get off the notion that the oline was better last year. We talked all offseason about if the oline doesn't improve how it will be **** for whoever was under center

The offensive line from 2018 is miles better. They allowed 26 sacks in 13 games, we have already given up 18 in 4 games and that’s with having played 2 non power 5 schools. It’s not even close

He might take off as a willing runner.... Jarren holds the ball way to long looking for different short routes to open up.....if he doesn't learn how to avoid those hits...we might see Perry anyway... Jarren is a hit away from getting injured....doesn't have good pocket awareness....a good QB can feel pressure....if he's going to take a big hit by holding it too long...at least take some deep shots to wide open receivers...I know Jarren wants to be efficient....but he also needs to understand practice is different than game situations....you cannot afford to pass up Jt4 one on one against a scrub db running a 4.7...for a 5 yard pass underneath...the offense will continue to fail until we get a QB willing to open it up....

Was Perry willing to open it up last year? He didn’t throw the deep ball well at all either, actually was worse. What other option do we have? I dont Think Perry is a better option than Williams. With that being said Jarren does need to start running more and imo we need our bigger receivers out there on deep balls like Clemson does to help the offense out. We are consistently sending 5’9 harley and 5’10 Thomas on all of these deep balls. Get a bigger presence out there

You saying we got a better option than Jt4 on deep routes? I'd like to see that...also, does Perry have a stronger arm than Jarren?
