Does anyone have any idea of what level of donation it will take to secure tix to the ACC and whatever bowl game(s) we go to? I would rather give my money to the HC than someone on secondary market, but I don't want to get left in the cold for having short arms and deep pockets.

Talked to the HC a few minutes ago. They said they are taking requests like crazy, and only have 7500 tickets to sell. In looking at the point system, I might have to make a very sizable donation to have a chance.

Any info would be appreciated. TIA.

For what you would have to donate to even get a chance at tickets you might as well but on stubhub you will save money

I already went ahead and hedged my bet and bought tickets on vivid seats for ACC title game and will most likely do the same for ATL. Sucks, but I don't have the income or extra funds to make a sizable donation for that.

Good seats that HC will sell for about $200 are going for $500+ on stubhub. So presumably I could donate $500 and still be ahead after buying 2 tickets, plus have a shot at our bowl games.

however if you donate and dont have your request filled then its just a 500$ donation. If this is your first year donating i would say your chances of getting tickets are slim. Im sweating them out and ive been a HC donor for 17 years, season ticket for 5 and have bought 3 or 4 away game ticket sets each year for the last prob 15 that all goes in to the points system.

same boat ticket holder for 10 and go to multiple away games and baseball and basketball games and im still scared lol. They told me for the ACC game they got screwed, but for the bowl games that we should be ok.

Good luck with that. The priority order is based not only on your donation this year but how many years you’ve donated, if you are an alumni or former player, if you are season-ticket holder, and total donations both this year and life to date. There is literally no way you can come in right now and only donate $500 and get ahead of thousands of people that are ahead of you and it is literally thousands. You would have to come in at a very high giving level, to jump ahead of people. And most likely you could get really great seats on stub hub for far less than it would take you. Personally I am an alum with season tickets for 20 years that are currently on the 20 yard line lower level and a donor for those 20 and I am doubting that I might get tickets from the school.

Thanks guys, this is the type of info I was looking for. I'll just buy them on stubhub.

'

Didn't know if they were taking former player status into account on this one or not. I still went ahead and bought some on Vivid Seats as I doubt I have any type of standing lol. Thanks for the insight though.

I personally think the ticket prices will come way down as it gets closer to game day.

Most people from either school have a good idea now of whether they will be attending or not. Demand spiked when UM (and Clemson to a lesser extent) clinched, and prices are still riding that high as people rush to get tickets because it is a "sell out."

I think there will be a lot of unhappy scalpers that greedily have tickets listed for exorbitant prices now, only to see them come down to close to face the day of.

the overall order is based on your giving level THIS YEAR. then within your giving level, the points system comes into play for determining order (length of time as season ticket holder, etc)

Just called again they said monday 5pm is the request deadline, and Tuesday emails go out for tickets. they are trying to push for more tickets but as of right now a lot of people wont get tickets

have my fingers crossed. i just want 2 lower level sideline

FWIW, I'm no Tomato King level of Hurricane Club member but I've always been pleasantly surprised in them actually fulfilling my ticket requests from FSU road games to Notre Dame in Chicago and hopefully this game. That said, we might be at an all-time high in level of demand.

Worst case though if you become a member now is that you probably have a good chance at getting LSU tickets at JerryWorld next year and then UiF tickets in Orlando in 2018.

HC membership runs on a calendar year basis. So it’ll get you bowl game tix but expires on 12/31.

True but you'd start accruing standing/points toward your ranking in 2018 and 2019 to buy the LSU/UiF tickets.
