Hurricane Club section

I don’t know man. I was sitting in east end zone looking over at the sections between the 40 yards lines. Rows 1 all the way up to the box level was basically empty.

thats the big money golden canes that make the lifeblood of your donations.

It's one of those things where you don't know what you are missing until it's gone.

I live in Atlanta now and every game I'm wishing I lived close enough to go to every game. If I did I'd go to every one of them.

I sat in those seats yesterday but I gave my 4 season tickets to my buddy who took his kids. Those seats are usually corporate and unless people are Canes fans they go unused. Not to mention you get rained on in those seats.
The living room boxes get rained on?

Fair enough. So why don’t we see these big empty sections at other big time schools? Not a good look for recruiting imo.

bc big time schools play in a **** *** stadium and not in an NFL stadium designed for the fan experience. do you want to go back to bleachers and no seat backs?

The last time I was in that stadium with really good seats I felt like I was still a mile from the field and it seemed like I was 10 feet higher. The remodel really made a difference.

Anybody who thinks an on campus stadium would be anywhere near as nice as HRS should seek professional help.

No question. Dolphins budget > UMs. We're along for the ride, and it's been generally positive. The renovations, the parking, the proximity to highways, every one of those aspects would be absolute **** near campus.

As an Orange Bowl diehard, I have to agree, Hard Rock has exceeded my expectations. I know everyone that lives in the Gables thru Kendall don't know that there's other cities in FL North of Brickell, but about 60% of the fans live closer to HR than campus, and that's probably even higher now.

But you’re still talking about the Golden canes section, if I’m not mistaken. Either that or I just don’t get where it is you’re talking about

I don’t know how much they pay but if I had 55k in disposable income to pay for Cane season tickets I definitely would not be doing that. I can watch the games from a yacht or on some exotic island every Saturday. Lol. To each his own.

Put that shlt in a 401K

Because the contribution is a write off. I was a Golden Cane for years, my contact was Fonzi Restrpo who got promoted tp Assistant AD of development. How much have you given to UM? Oh that’s right zero.

The Golden Cane section has its own private area inside the stadium, that's probably where most people were as opposed to sitting in the rain. Even when it's not raining, they're still a good number of them rubbing elbows in there. It's an entirely different dynamic with that group. Just let them and their 50 yard line seats be. It's not generally as empty as people think it is on TV, there only 6 or 8 seats in those rows.

Is it still a write off with the new tax laws?

FSU has the same problem with their club level and is in the end zone. Even when they have a good turnout it looks like it's empty bc everyone is inside. When I sat there 2 years ago when we finally won, over half the people are hanging out inside.

There are a lot teams that are dealing with the same problem Even Bama is trying to address it with their proposed stadium renovation.

I'd be willing to take their spot supporting the team in the stadium.

so you should take their spot in donating near 60k annually. thats where it matters most not if theyre sitting in their seat for a game or in the box. the school also prefers the 55k-60k they donate

Yes that's what we need, more fans to sit in the concourse with their thumb up their *** not supporting the team on the field. Recruits love that.

yeah we don’t need their 55k annually supporting the program. Do you realize money and their money runs the program? How the **** doyou think FSU bought out willie

Make sure to show Justin Flowe your spreadsheet when rationalizing our cavernous excuse for fan turnout compared to his other suitors. Or how about sitting in your **** seat and cheering for the team you are supposedly a fan of? Novel concept perhaps.
