i just dont get the complaints. sucks on tv, but the experience of going to the games now is the suites and the amenities. its why college teams are investing more into the suites than they are in their reg seating areas. the people that donate the most buy those seats and if you want them to keep coming back, you have to give them amenities.

The people complaining are also the people LEAST likely to have those seats. Even though I live across the country, and I don't get to the games as often as I used to when I lived in South Florida, I've kept my season tickets. Why? Because I have club level seats, and it's a great experience to go to games. I don't miss sitting out in the hot sun, fighting dehydration. It's nice to know that if it's a noon kick, then I can go inside, grab a drink, chill, maybe watch another game if ours is a rout. Once you experience those amenities, it's hard to watch games any other way. Teams realize that going to sporting events is a hassle for many, they are competing with your living room couch and 80 inch flatscreen. A hot dog and a plastic seat isn't going to cut it anymore.

bingo. look at the concessions at hard rock in the 100 level as another reason why theyre investing more into that part. no one wants a **** pizza and a coke or **** beer. they have a Biergarten in there along with many local vendors.

also regarding yesterday, LSU Bama was at 330 and our game was a 3 td lead at half. the LSU bama game is way more interesting no matter who you root for. id also try to catch action of that game

Adapt or Die. People expect more for their money now, and the organizations that deliver that are going to stay profitable. I'm willing to spend a bit extra, to be comfortable. I've noticed that when I go to games now, I have a lot more fun, mostly because it doesn't feel like it's an all day event. You aren't dehydrated when you leave, you can go home, change and then go enjoy the rest of your day. When I was younger, with crappy student seats, after the game I was done. Why? Because you just sat out in the sun and baked for 3-4 hours, then had to ride the metro home. That's fine when you are 18, it's not when you are in your early thirties.

You mean the big luxury seats with the screens etc? I don’t believe those are called the 72 club, not for Miami Hurricanes games anyway. Maybe for the Dolphins, and that’s the source of the confusion. In Miami Hurricanes games, if I’m not mistaken, that’s just the golden canes section.
 
So to recap, they are there just inside eating and not watching the game because they don't want to get rained on lmfao. Bum *** fans.
 
While none of us personally would've probably designed an NFL stadium with those seats there this is also basically irrelevant and a verrrry minor tradeoff. That stadium has the potential to be one of the best homefield advantages in college football. That's all anyone should really care about- what the atmosphere CAN be like there if this program just upholds its end of the deal.

Even with less than a sellout yesterday, once everybody was in their seats and cheering it wasn’t a bad crowd, and it was loud. Considering all the circumstances, that was a loud and proud crowd yesterday

Yup. The canopy seems to add about 20000 people to the sound levels. Possibly exponentially more when the place is full or near full.
 
People can do what they want when they pay for their seats. That said, I’ve been to very few games and that section was even remotely full so I guess when those people enter the stadium they go straight to the clubhouse and don’t even bother going to their seats. Lol.
 
I don’t know how much they pay but if I had 55k in disposable income to pay for Cane season tickets I definitely would not be doing that. I can watch the games from a yacht or on some exotic island every Saturday. Lol. To each his own.

If you are going to ***** about something, is that 15 minutes before kickoff, the stadium was empty because the fans were still tailgating and didnt say thank you to the seniors.

theyre golden canes. they love the U that much they're willing to spend no matter what. that said, you wouldn't take advantage of the amenities like free food and drinks and air conditioning if its provided with your tickets? come on lol. we should be starting a thread for sticking around and continuing to drop that kinda dime on this program even after years of no return

I don’t know man. I was sitting in east end zone looking over at the sections between the 40 yards lines. Rows 1 all the way up to the box level was basically empty.

I sat in those seats yesterday but I gave my 4 season tickets to my buddy who took his kids. Those seats are usually corporate and unless people are Canes fans they go unused. Not to mention you get rained on in those seats.
