Hugh Freeze

OK well when are they gonna make a bowl game with all these so called elite recruits

Well it’s his second year and he hasn’t finished recruiting class number 2 and stuck with Thorne despite playing well most games and progressing despite that one mistake

Can we give him at least 3 years to fully assess? Or is it our coaches work in dog years?

3 years to fairly assess Hugh=6 years for the time needed for Mario to be fairly assessed?

I wanted Sark the year before Texas hired him. Then I wanted Freeze before Auburn hired him. Then I wanted Lane when we hired Mario.

Should’ve hired Hugh Freeze.

Great coach, great offense and great recruiting.

That Miami guy, pro style bro **** is corny and has been corny for 15 years.

College football has moved on yet here we are trying to run an offense that’s archaic at best.

Too bad a bunch of Columbus bros got together and hijacked the coaching hiring process and hired their boy rather than the best man for the job. And if it wasn’t Mario it was gonna be manny cause they weren’t really interested in the program’s success.

The problem ain’t the players, it’s the people around this program that have ulterior motives that make decisions that derail any chance this program has at being successful. It’s been going on for over 15 years and this new staff is a manifestation of that rot.
This aged well.

He was supposed to be a QB guru. In fact, I thought he was when he was winning with his 1st, 2nd and 3rd string (Salter) at Liberty. Those Liberty years got him the auburn job.

But he hasn’t been able to get steady qb play at Auburn. Thorne, then keeping Thorne for a 2nd year, was a mistake. Falling for Jackson Arnold was just as bad. And he doesn’t have the backups ready to go.

Wasting an impressive defense this season. Sound familiar?

I thought Freeze was a lock to succeed at Auburn. I was totally wrong. One of the worst calls of my life.
