huge game for Kaaya's Legacy

Anyone thinking this game is going to be easy is an idiot. Rivalry and nothing would help lessen the sting of their disappointing season than a win against their most hated long time rival.

With that said there is zero excuse for not winning this game. It will be close and competitive...but this is a game we must and should win.
 
As weird as this season has played out, all the pressure is on UM and Kaaya. FSU has nothing to lose at this point. They won't play in the ACCCG. They won't play for a NC. They'll come in loose.

I'd expect Kaaya to be pretty tight because of all the local pressure of him having to win a big game and UM having to snap this streak.
 
He did well enough to win the last 2 years, but had a spineless coach who took his foot off the gas.This game isn't about BK,we need to regain control of South Florida.
 
Just think back to last year, Miami coming off a loss to Cincy and a dead man walking as a coach, they nearly won that game at Doak.

Id be stunned if this game was a blowout for Miami

Not sure what that means, but I'm sure some dopes on here will find a reason to rip Kaaya even if we finally break that sickening streak.
 
Everyone just needs to step up...

Kaaya's gotta play lights out
the OL MUST protect Kay & open up holes for the RB's
Walton & Yearby have to have their best game
The WR's have to catch the ball, Joku has to be a big time playmaker, Coley gotta make big plays as well

But, the most important thing is, NO TURNOVERS!!!

The Defense gotta be discipline and contain Francis in the pocket, don't let him run around like crazy...

They also gotta hit Cook all game, put a hat on him and continually pound him on every play, eventually he'll cough one up.

The DB's can't let the speed on the outside get the best of them downfield... Whitfield & Bobo Wilson are going to be used to stretch the field quite a bit, and Tate will get some deep pass jump balls as well.

Also, we have to WRAP THESE ****ERS UP!!! I don't wanna see broken tackles in the backfield, swarm the **** outta whoever has the ball and bring'em the f*ck down!

Pretty much, everybody gotta treat this sh*t with the importance it deserves, they have to reach deep down inside & decide they just want it more than FSU... We have to literally beat those mutha****as into submission.

LOL he is already far better then either of those guys though both were good college qbs despite what some may say on here. If Jacory had Richt as his coach he would of played in the league. Morris is in the league but he would of been better for sure. Kaaya is almost a 1st round lock but this game is for him to get to above the great level and get to elite status in Miami lore . If he can lead us to 12-1 /11-2 season like I suspect he will be thought of very highly by anyone who knows the game. He has had his way the last 2 years with FSU's D but the D has been so bad it didn't matter . Not this year. Suspect he goes for around 400 on Saturday .

How has he been so much better than Morris at this point? IF he goes 12-1/11-2, the conversation changes. But he hasn't at this point. John Saunders is correct.
 
It's a big game for Miami not just kaaya.. Miami wouldn't have even been in the games the last 2 years if it wasn't for kaaya
 
I think this depends on if this is his last year at UM. If he loses to FSU this year and leaves for the NFL then I think he will be remembered as a great prospect at UM who helped change the direction of our program - because it looks like lose 3 games at most even with an FSU lose. He will still be a top 5-7 UM qb. If he wins this year and leaves I think he can get to top 3-4 qb depending on the rest of the season. If he stays next year, beats FSU and leads us to the promise land he will go down as a top 3 qb.
 
Kaaya has slayed FSU for the past two years when their secondary was actually the strength of their defense. I expect him to do much of the same this year, especially considering that their secondary is now considered the weak part of their D.

The difference, is this year we have the staff to make sure that we don't give the game away like we did the previous two years.

But then again, if FSU expects to study our tapes and learn diddly squat - they're in for a big disappointment.

All your points are sound.

If the bold happens Kaaya should have a good game.

Last couple of times he's been hurt by dropsies and pressure, especially at key times that could have changed the momentum.

Kaaya has been pretty good but he has not taken over a game like he should if he wants to be considered with other Miami greats.

Kaaya threw for 721yds 5 touchdowns and 1 interception against FSU the last two years. You're right, Kaaya played "pretty good"

Its 2016. Everyone puts up huge passing stats in college football.

He left the field 0 and 2 after both of those games and he had lots of offensive talent around him.

He had a chance to pull it last year off on the last drive. When the pressure was on, he choked.
