One of the original coaches who came here with Howard. He was the tight ends coach 1979 to 1984 and the wide receivers coach from 1985 to 1988 and garnered 2 national title rings. He was wide receivers coach of the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL from 1989 to 1997, winning Super Bowl XXVII, XXVIII and ***.

RIP to a great Cane.

Hubbard Alexander was one of those unsung heroes of the "Decade of Dominance", he built the WR group into something special. People forget that Miami receivers of that era were more than mere pass catchers. They tended to be **** good blockers, something that could be attributed to their coach. There's a reason why Jimmy took him to Dallas, he knew talent.

That's a touching eulogy. Thanks for that.
