How would this be overcome? (Speculation on next two weeks)

Over the next two weeks, we play two relatively solid teams. NC State at home and @Pitt (who just rolled VT).

If Manny were to lose those two games, we'd drop to 2-6 on the season, 4 straight losses, and 8 straight P5 losses.

That would have to be it, right?
Always had my eye as NCST as the team, same oct weekend Golden got that clemson work.. Its destined..

The only fraud at this point is that he hasn’t been fired yet and we are still acting like decisions have been made to generate interest

Stadium will be empty next week with zero support for the team live.

The narrative is a message board argument to replace mope vs slurper to generate clicks.
That's a really odd post. You've insinuated that I'm trying to "generate interest" and "generate clicks?" Ha.

I don't see any set of circumstances where Blake fires Manny in season. They will ride out this garbage season together and get their pink slips after our last game- We are very unlikely to get bowl eligible.

Should have been it after Michigan State.

I think we've seen enough. Not only is this clown out of his element - he staked his career on deciding to take over DC duties, instead of finding an actual qualified candidate to replace his buddy. Why it needs to take anymore losses is beyond me.

I'd think the recruits that are watching this ****show see the instability and want to see some decisive action taken before they commit. Letting Manny hang around until the end of the season really ***s this program.

Why do we need to wait any longer for the inevitable? This is ridiculous. If they cared he would be gone by tomorrow night

Who's Pitt's OC? Asking for a friend

He is done. As long as the team competes, they will let him finish the year. If they don’t compete, it could come after every game left.

We all want Manny out but what is there to gain by firing him now instead of waiting till the end of the year? Will it help with recruiting or is it just a matter of team morale? Honest question.
It does help with recruiting if we can get a big name coach. And it takes time to pull one from a school. It also helps the players on campus who have given up on Diaz.

Guys, barring TVD turning into Dan Marino, it's not if, but WHEN in regards to Manny getting fired. The things I worry about is whether the BOT does what needs to be done and fires Blake BEFORE Manny. If Blake survives, then there's no point in worrying about Manny. Frankly, I'd be happier keeping Manny, because letting Blake make another hire is just flushing money down the toilet.
