How would people feel about this guy at QB….

@cway313 what don't you like bout Pratt bruh? I've only watched bout 6 Tulane games with him. He looked like a gamer from what i saw. What's your take on em?

He won't lose us games. If he is our best option our scouting department doesn't exist. Being from Miami shouldn't be apart of any evaluation. As far as on field he looks like he has a decent arm and won't lose us games with careless turnovers. I don't see tools that elevate the talent around him. Not a statue in the pocket which is a plus.

I wouldn't be mad with Pratt but he should not be considered a game changer or #1 target. He also shouldn't be brought in as our only option. We need to have a viable second option to pivot if he chokes or gets injured.

Ok. I definitely agree. Good point. I think I'm stuck in "anything but Tyler" mindset and not looking at the bigger picture.

I'm beaten and battered ready for a QB by any means cause we ain't had a consistent one in God knows how long 🤦🏿🤦🏿

I agree with all this but in this day and age, what are the odds that qb's transfer to the same school, with one transferring just to sit?

I think cribby mentioned sanders at ole miss did, but not sure that is something that is really realistic and pretty clear to see how poorly it turned out for sanders at this point with dart coming back another year

All of which I think could have lead this team to a 10 win or undefeated season this year.

I would be fine with any of those besides Klubnik. Don't like him.

We won't get 2 Heisman candidates, but some QBs transfer just for a change of scenery. Jake Garcia (not implying he is any good) is an example of a younger QB with experience transferring into a non guaranteed starting spot. The second option just needs to be reliable enough that coaches aren’t forced into sticking with QB1 too long again.

I’m starting to connect the dots and I think this might be one of the guys we’re very interested in. And with his brother playing for the Dolphins, it just seems like a natural fit for the family.
 
If TVD comes back healthy and Mario lets the OC cook without any interference, we can have a much better season next year.

It would be foolish to replace TVD with a mediocre QB.

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
