How will Feeley's program be modified for Spread/Tempo Offense (concurrent training dilemma)?

Right. To be clear, I'm not saying there shouldn't be changes. To the contrary, I thought our team seemed gassed far too often in the 4th quarter last year. I'm just curious to know whether Manny has actually said that there would be changes.
Been a long time since we didn't look gassed in the 4th quarter. Not sure when but some time ago we flipped from owning the 4th to being owned by the 4th.

Kinda feel it's up to the strength training coach to suggest/design the program to meet the program's goals. Manny would have final decision authority IMO.

Defense better be ready to be back on the field after 2 minute rests in case of 3 and outs

Tempo of the offense is quicker so the players should be prepared to have less rest between plays

Lashlee's Miami bio says SMU averaged 80.9 plays per game last season, 3rd nationally. Miami averaged 65. Average length of those plays is important as is understanding what the players are asked to do on each play. That all should factor in to how the off season is structured.
That makes sense the amount of reps just running the offense in the off-season will go a long way. 2 birds with one stone.

OL will need to be much better conditioned or they won't be able to handle a significant number of additional offensive plays (hopefully) and the faster tempo. If some of our OL remain out of shape, they simply won't be able to keep up in the new offense. OL is where the greatest leap will need to happen in conditioning. They have to be leaner & ready to run more (and at a faster pace).
