The wait is over, folks! The NFL is officially kicking off tonight (well, the preseason). Former Miami Hurricanes starting quarterback Carson Beck will get his first start for the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game against the Carolina Panthers.

According to multiple sources who cover the Cardinals, Beck put on a clinic during training camp. He was seen dicing up the defense and trying to prove why he should be in consideration for the starting spot.

This past season with the Hurricanes, he threw for 3,813 yards, 30 touchdown passes while throwing 12 interceptions. For his college career, he threw for 11,725 passing yards and 88 touchdowns. Beck will get his shot at that starting spot tonight. The game will be a big challenge for Beck and majority of the Hurricanes fans will be cheering him on from the couch.

@DMoney normally, I would agree as this is the type that does it but there's not actually a thread going right now and I'm sure a bunch of us are gonna wind up watching this game tonight to see how he does so there's probably a better way to start the thread and then in bed, the article into it so we don't have to click more kind of thing. I think that if any of these articles are on a topic that's already there and they're not just AI filler there's a place for them to get inserted into a conversation that's already going on possibly

I am just trying to do my job. As a kid still in high school, I take time out of my day when I could be doing plenty of other things that kids do. Instead, I choose to do what I love which is writing articles. Yet, I still get complaints. I don't get it. There were zero threads about how you can watch the game.
