He got the job because Al is out the door after this season, Kevin beard, Kareem, Ice, Coley , brown, will be asked to stick around to try to keep the recruiting class together while we look for a new coach. Hopefully they just tell Butch to get a staff together after we lose to FSU for a fifth time under AG.... But who knows?
