How many years will Richt coach at Miami?

Simple question... how long do you think Mark Richt stays at Miami and why?



Personally, and hopefully I'm not being overly optimistic or delusional, but I'm hoping he stays for 12-15 years and keep us in the top 10 consistently.
He doesn't strike me as a guy who would leave for the NFL. I hope he stays until he retires.

UM hasn't really had a long tenured coach before, (like a Bowden, Beamer, Stoops, Ferentz type guy) so why couldn't it be Richt?

None of those guys would have lasted here. For Mark to go 12 here, he needs to win at least 2 NCs while making playoffs 5 or 6 times. If he goes 3 or 4 years without one or the other, he will be in trouble. This is Miami. We don't look at greatness and want it; know what greatness taste like and will settle for nothing less more off it. Right now he is compared to horrible coaching of the last decade plus. If he loses to FSU a couple years, he look more like a coach who got fired from his last job and not a huge relief from the crap we had.
