At this point I am going with Shaq. Quarterman, Mike Pinkney and Sam Bruce. Will any other frosh crack the starting lineup?

Barring injury, one. Shaq Quarterman.

Those 3 are locks to start. I wouldn't be surprised to see Richards as a starter in a 3 WR package with Coley and Bruce. Also, one of the freshmens DBs will likely start at some point during the season.

Keep an eye on Homer too. We don't have any superstars at RB. If Homer comes in and shows the ability to hit homeruns he could start eating lunches.

he is the game changer

I read that Pinkney lit it up in the spring, so why won't he start?

TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually cracked the starting lineup later on in the year but I have a feeling the coaches are going to go with someone more experienced. At least to start the season. He's an upgrade talent-wise over the other options but coaches tend to err on the side of caution in these matters.

I doubt Sam Bruce starts over Braxton Berrios. And Richt definitely doesn't want two guys that are 5'8" to be on the field too often at WR, he like big and fast guys over short and quick.
Shaq is definitely starting. I doubt Pinckney keeps the starting job all summer, especially when Darrion Owens returns. I think Ahmmon Richards or Dionte Mullins if he gets in have a chance to start games this season, maybe not from day 1 though. It's anyones guess who our starting DBs will be. Could be a true frosh who wins out at one of those 4 positions.

I hear you on everyone except Sam Bruce. Sam Bruce is a game changer and will start over Berries as he is more explosive, runs better routes and is way better after the catch. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a better down-field blocker than Berrios too.

Young @ nickel, Quarterman, Pickney at some point in the season. I could see any of our 4 WR's starting at some point just because we're so thin and there's always going to be someone getting nicked up. In order or likeliness though...

1. Harris or Richards
2. Mullens
3. Bruce (only reason is i don't see him unseating berrios being a late summer session 2 guy and he'll get plenty of burn on special teams/gadget plays as a "non-starter".) People are steady discounting berrios but it's clear he has the best rapport with kaaya.

If Owens is healthy, he'll start. Owens was starting to show out before he got injured. Pinckney is good and will be good but I think Owens wins it over him with Shaq and Grace winning the other two spots. I'll go with 1 at the start of the season with Shaq. By mid season, I could see Richards and possibly Bruce if Coley gets hurt again.

Pinkney showed more in one spring than Owens has in 2 years.

Don't know who ends up starting or not, but I expect all three WRs, all three LBS, and all three DBs in the class will have a chance to make some sort of impact on the field.

And that's the important thing. They will all contribute, and that's every bit as important as starting.

My guess is that Jackson, Richards, Homer, and Bruce will start at some point in the season. Quarterman and Pinckney start from day 1.

Bruce's getting to the party a little late to start..Braxton's healthy and in full speed ahead, will become Kaaya's go to guy this season....Know Bruce is good and hope to see him catch onto the Offensive System and become productive later in the season...

Mullens is most ready to play, I don't see Bruce starting but he'll get plenty of burn. The lb's will all play and SQ and Pinkney probably start.

I'd say a good percentage of this class will play, and a lot

Exactly. He'll get playing time, and hopefully he's good enough for that time to increase throughout the season. Having two guys like that will help keep each other fresh. But I agree, he's a little late to the party to unseat the starting QB's favorite target.
