How Many Regular Season Wins in 2025 - July 2025 Edition

How many regular season wins will the Canes have in the 2025 regular season?

I think we can squeeze out 10, assuming the defense is improved as we hope/expect and Beck doesn't implode.

I could absolutely see 9 wins as well, but I went with my heart this time

I didn't realize our odds have improved. I thought they were at 8.5. That looks like they've improved to 9.5, no? Which odds sites have us there?

The odds I posted on exact wins was from DK.

Oddly enough, they pulled the over/under regular season wins total from the site. It's not on there right now.

I did check Hard Rock, and they have the line at 9.5, but under is -160 and over is +130.

I think the way that DK has those exact wins odds, you're right the line for relatively even juice should be 9. But the books only hang them with the hook so there's no pushes.

It's probably 8.5 with -150 to the over or 9.5 with -160 to the under.

I think without the notre dame game it’s 10 wins easy. Like if you had that game swapped for a cupcake. But my intuition if I was putting the mortgage on it says lose to the domers and drop two dumb ACC games to get 9-3. That’s the safe money.

Also side note you gotta be careful of that usf game. Sandwiched trap game

I understand how important this season is but you know what we need is not necessarily where we will get to. The question is where will we get to so what do you think our regular season win total will be? You should vote what you believe will happen not what you want to happen.
Thoughts are for pussies. Only real men can ignore the ******* question and boast about it.

I believe 11 happens with health and better defense.

I'm not going to play these ***** games about how "we usually lose one we shouldn't".

Obviously, if Beck was injured, we wouldn't make it to 11.

If Beck stays healthy and our defense swarms as coached to do so, then we win.

My vote is my vote. It's on the record. I'm no cway.

Ok. You want and believe at least 11. I hope you are right.

@RVACane can you please add an option for, "I have no idea because the guesses are never right anyway"?

With the exception of ND, there's not a better team on our schedule, but who knows what will happen.

Yes. I want to be clear, it is not one of those "with caution" predictions. I don't give a **** about my own personal "credibility" for "predicting too many wins" or "falling short of my prediction".

Burn the ships behind us. 11 or 12 wins. Do or die.

As negative as I am about Mario, I went 10-2 and ACCCG.

Why? Because that’s what this team should be. That’s the expectation and has been for 3+ years now under Mario. We don’t leave the state of Florida until November.

No excuses, win games and look good doing it. The roster has holes, but in the worst P4 conference in America, it should be more than fine.

Clemson is clear best team in the conference, and we’re second. SMU lost a ton, particularly defense. Louisville and GT are dark horses, but if you can’t beat them, then you’re no better than your predecessors.

Every time I see QBs like Klubnick and Allar and Arch being touted as the top QBs in the country (not saying they aren’t good or anything) but it snaps me back to reality a bit

Wide open is an understatement

Limited practice time. A QB that is basically in spring training and a totally new defense and DC is hopefully playing its best ball in November when we need it most

You put in for 10 wins though so there’s something you see.

I changed it from 9 to 10 to back to 9 lol.

I think we split with ND and UF. Toss up games with Louisville and SMU

Then pick one in late November that Mario loses with poor game management decisions. A lot of the board (including me) has flights and hotel already booked to charlotte and thinks no way can they lose this with so much on the line vs a team fighting for 6 wins.
