Student section has been a ghost town all season.

The announced crowd was 43k (tickets sold). The actual crowd was more like 25k to 28k. Sparse to say the least.

I’m a Miami Alum and I’m horrified by the state of the females in the student body. Holy smokes. Watch any SEC game and they are picking out smoke shows every 2 mins.

I don't get why/how "fans" can leave at halftime.

Regarding the students. I'm in the 1st row in the 200 level right behind their section.
Agree that admissions has to recruit better, but you must've missed "miss tennis skirt" on TV.

Regardless they were loud

At times they were, but not consistently. When the momentum was swinging in NC State's direction and they were marching for a score the place was like a tomb. The announcers noticed the drop off as well.

There are times when it was noisy, but it has to be consistent. The crowd can disrupt the other team, limit audibles, force penalties etc... We aren't there.
