How many FSU kids play at Miami?

Been having this conversation in a few threads and with friends, and with all this complete nonsense on Twitter about talent vs execution blah blah, I want some opinions.

Please, please, please take your orange and green glasses off for a minute. I promise you, mine are off. I’m being as objective as I possibly can.

My question is, of everyone on FSU’s roster, RIGHT NOW (meaning I think Kevin Wynn looked good against us, but he’s a true freshman and that was his first game), how many kids on that roster start and/or play rotational minutes for us? Not garbage time. A starter or a kid who is in the regular rotation. An Armondo Blount role, for example.

Here’s how I see it, I want your thoughts:

QB - LOL

RB - MAYBE Kromah, but I don’t think so right this minute. He looks like he’s going to be good, but he’s not getting much burn in this backfield right now

WR - Robinson, 100%. Probably starts. I think we’d find a role for Danzy, that speed is very appealing. That’s it.

TE - Pittman has impressed me. I think he’s better than Bauman, him and Lofton would be the TE rotation

OL - Not a chance

DL - Jackson 100%. That’s literally it. MAYBE a Desir twin? But I’m going no right now.

LB - No ******* shot

DBs - No ******* shot.

So, I count 2 for sure starters/heavy rotation kids (Duce, D. Jack), one “1B” player in Pittman. And 2 maybes (Kromah, Desir)

THATS ******* PATHETIC, MIKE!! Dear god, even in Jimbo’s heyday we had more than 2 ******* kids here who would play there. And these muppets have the audacity to chalk that game up to anything other than a MASSIVE talent disadvantage? You have 3 goddamned kids on your whole team who would get into games at Miami. But no, your talent is fine. You just didn’t execute. That’d be like me pitching to a team of 8 year old all-stars. They’re good players! They just didn’t hit the ball. Well no ****, I’m Randy Johnsoning the pill right by those little *****. They have no chance. The fact you’re not making these plays is the very definition of why you lost…because you don’t have good football players.

Anyway, thoughts? Some of you are more familiar with the roster than I am. And we all just watched them play, many of us a couple times on rewatch too. Am I missing anyone?
I agree 100% and definitely no on the Desir twin, he’s too small and stiff. Doesn’t really have any moves.

Literally not one person in this entire thread even accidentally insinuated that Little would play here.

To answer the question, DJack and Duce

Speaking of the Desir Twins. FSU got them at a pretty bargain bin price due to them not being highly ranked but now theyve proven they are rotational pieces on a top ___ acc team. They are going to ask for a huge payraise this offseason and eat into the budget.

They’re both good players. I thought Jackson played his *** off on Saturday. I’m not saying they’re some high end first-round picks, before people crucify me for, god forbid, saying something remotely positive about someone from another program. But amongst the adults here, both those kids are plenty good enough to contribute on this team.

But is that really it? Has Mike really broken fsu that badly?!?
Jackson played very well on Saturday. The Toney TD that got called back was the one where he just abused Brock I think

I saw the way Mario dapped him up after the game though I’d guess he will go pro

Was him leaving to be close to family legit? I do wonder if he regrets leaving … along with both Horton’s & Colbie Young
his best friend was the dt at fsu (got drafted this year) and his hs coach was corey fuller fsu alumni and fsu staffer.

It had nothing to do with family..unless your considering extended family of those guys that got him to come back home.

Mike is the worst kind of coach. He’s not bad enough where mumbles become roars. And not good enough to consistently win at a high level. He can stay there as long as he’d like imo.
bro they lost 10 games last year, first year they only won 3 games tf u mean hes not bad enough lol

2022-2023 szns have saved him. They gonna wait out that money move on him though...maybe he turns it around starting now. If Tommy C goes down they are screwed even worse though because their entire offense is back yard ball again

yep and who they have will definitely ensure they ask for it.....they are coach mo and Tunsil kids. Good luck with negotiations coming.

Fair points, but I felt as an outsider that the DJ selection doomed them, so there was somewhat of a built-in excuse for being 2-10. The D wasn't that bad and was capable but that offense was offensive. Anyways, totally ok with them winning 8,9 this year!

Yes on Jackson and Robinson.

Pittman is an absolutely horrible blocker. We couldn't run Dawson's scheme with him as the TE.
