How many decommits is it going to take

buuuummmmmppppp

Nope, nothing wrong here.

seems like a good time for a bump

Nothing to worry about, though. Everything is fine

Excellent bump.

Those who continue denying that the constant decommitments aren't an utter embarrassment to this program still feel this way:

for all the fan boys to realized something is wrong with Fat Al?

We're at 11 for the class. 3 or 4 a class is normal, not this many
Its not as bad as it seems. for example losing Rasul and Greg Simmons are not really loses....don't get me wrong both of these kids a great athletes and high quality recruits...but we have what we need at their positions..and fortunately imo we got the better athletes.

De-commits:
WR: Trevill Holcy (de-committed 3/26/2014) Never offered
T: Kevin Feder (flipped to O$U 6/22/2014) Replaced w/ Tyree St. Louis (7/29/14)
RB: Jordan Cronkrite (de-committed 9/13/2014) Replaced w/ Mark Walton
TE: Bowman Archibald (flipped to Wake Forest 9/21/2014) Replaced w/ Jerome Washington
OG: Leeward Brown (flipped to West Virginia 10/28/2014) Replaced w/ Bar Milo (8/27/14)
OT: Geron Christian (de-committed on 11/26/2014) Replaced w/ Jahair Jones (12/15/14)

No real need to replace:
K: Drew Galitz (flipped to Baylor 8/26/2014) Goudis will be back for 2 more years and Badgley was a true freshmen who can still redshirt if he loses to Goudis next year.
WR: Emonee Spence (de-committed on 12/09/2014) We got 3 WR last year (Brady, Berrios, Langham and only lose Dorsett)

These are the 3 guys that we still need to replace:
DT: Quentez Johnson (de-committed 5/6/2014) Committed for less than a week during the summer
LB: Claude George (de-committed on 10/16/2014) De-committed after Barrow left.
QB: Dwayne Lawson (de-committed on 12/18/2014) Does not want to wait 2-3 years.

It's not all gloom and doom like everyone makes it out to be.
Great point..its what I was trying to say

I see it like this... if we need 2 RBs... we have the number 1. 2. 3. 5 ranked RB committed... if 3 and 5 decommit..i dont count that as a loss... 1 and 2 will be losses

but why do you accepted commitments from 3 and 5, then?

Recruiting is a perception game, decommits leads to a negative perception of the program.

Losing 3 and 5 isn't a problem until 1 and 2 tell you to pound sand, like they did last year.

Good points all around here. I remember Pete saying that he was SHOCKED that Rasul committed when he did. And furthermore, this kid has been shaky from the start. He **** near decommitted once before and then when DMullins punked him on social media he got back in line. I think most people will be happy IF we hang on to THomer and grab Fils-Aime and get BThompson to reclassify.

I have said before and many people have said it as well..the CORE of the class is: Allison, Shaq, McCloud, Mullins, Wright, Bruce, Pinkney. When I say CORE I don't mean best players necessarily either. Just the leaders of the group. These guys are attached to the other kids in some way. One of these drop out and THEN I will get nervous because of the domino effect.

(I.E...If Shaq bolts, McCloud and Pinkney leave with him....If one of the Gulliver kids leave, they will all leave. Including RBurns. If Allison leaves, Bruce is definitely out. We have to keep the core together.) Losing a guy like James Pierre hurts a little because he is a player, but its not like he was going to get us Jerry Jeudy/Cavin Ridley and its not like he wasn't replaceable. Like someone said, the kid from IMG is just as good.
