This debacle of a football season pours even more fuel on the fire.

Only Barney Fife Phillips could come up with a formula whereby UVA loses a game to NC State but it doesn't count in the conference standings and five-loss Duke wins a tie-breaker over a team ranked just outside the Top 10. Yet another disaster for the ACC - which likely will be the magnified when the TV ratings come out for the championship game and the Ohio State-Indiana matchup crushes the ACC title game in a half-full Panthers stadium.

I think the walls begin to crumble in May as schools announce they're leaving the ACC after the 2026-27 school year

Acc is already dead imo

exactly..

inviting Cal and Stanford and SMU into the conference as a last second desperation move reeked of grasping for survival... the conference is dead and being buried as we speak...

and they're too dumb (or prideful) to realize there are only 2 or 3 programs (Miami, Clemson, FSU) in the conference that can help them survive longer by being a prominent national team that competes at the highest level and that they should do everything in their power to help them succeed.. scheduling.. refs.... ACCCG seeding. everything....

Acc has lost all credibility within college football world

We might as well be in the WAC (is that still around?)😂😂

I live in Charlotte and there are so many ticket giveaways and advertising of tix 60% off it’s mind boggling that the league would allow this. Well actually it’s not that surprising since this league is run terribly but you would think they would want to actually have a game that is watched by more than just UVA and Duke fans.

Quiet as kept, the excitement for conference championship games has run its course for the most part.

There were empty seats for the UGA-Horns game last season IN ATLANTA. Weather was fine and all that.

Once the regular season is over, people are ready to get to the playoffs — like in every other level of football besides FBS

My idea for the CC weekend is to just have all P4 conferences seed and play a 13th game. 1v2 3v4 5v6 etc… That way everyone gets that 13th data point. 1v2 would be the traditional game and the others on campus higher seed gets the home game.

There are only 2 revenue generating sports, and the ACC has done its best to be shut out of the biggest one. This is beyond pathetic.

I was completely against what FSU and Clemson were trying to do because I thought they did not have any legal footing, but if UM does not publicly address what is happening as it relates to the ACC leadership (not the CFP which is just using the power it has to ***** us), I will be incredibly disappointed.

Jim Phillips allowed this to happen. And his predecessor signed a terrible TV deal. Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, and we are stuck in the middle.

The ticket prices are also eliminating a lot of potential attendees.

The cheapest ticket on Ticket master is $242. 3rd deck
