How is Miami so dominant in the NIL game?

Weather and no state income tax are also factors.

These are college kids who may never play in the nfl. If you can get one million with no state income tax compared to what you see in some states, that's another $80K plus. That could make a difference when it's your one big payday. Meanwhile, the real money is in the NFL, and Mario can sell that credibly. Lastly, these are young, horny guys, and this is miami, the hottest women in the country. Don't tell me that's not a factor.

actually that is incorrect:

Based on U.S. Census Bureau data, these areas and zip codes have the highest concentrations of residents with highest annual earnings:

06883 (Weston, CT): Often cited as having a median household income exceeding $250,000.

94027 (Atherton, CA): Overlaps as both a real estate and income leader with a median household income over $250,000.

60043 (Kenilworth, IL): A Chicago suburb that consistently ranks near the top for median household income.

10007 (Lower Manhattan, NY): One of the highest-income areas in New York City, particularly around the Tribeca neighborhood.

Thats public... places like Coral Gables - Greenwich, Connecticut - Highlands Park, Texas & Celebration, FL are private municipalities so you wouldnt find info online.

Coral Gables has billionaires galore residing there, only a few places come close to CG community of billionaires

We all take it for granted that somehow a PRIVATE UNIVERSITY with 14,000 students -

has more money to spend on NIL than a PUBLIC STATE UNIVERSITY with 42,000 students a year.

how is this even possible?!?!
It's all my Canes Connection contributions.

We have a great collective but the main reason is that we have actual billionaires that want to see the program succeed while our rivals have millionaires that are less open to throwing in the money they need.

during the 80s, Um was the biggest college football brand in the US.
Alot of people younger at that time, now with money, are looking forward to that being the case again.
The CFP Championship numbers was no fluke or just an Indiana story. Miami is a big brand and glamorous city and people want ot pretend they are a part of it, which is fine by me.

We have a pretty decent amount of NIL donors that probably get some payback by the university in some form, even in regards to recommendations for potential employees that are graduating from the school.

No income tax helps. Weather helps. Girls help. Party life helps (to an extent).

But I believe we have great relationships with agents and legal representatives. Contracts are fair and probably have so many things that benefit the student athlete... That stuff matters.

Remember schools like UF and FSU have boosters with deep pockets, but they have to want to write the checks. My FSU friends all say the big $ boosters are on the sidelines until a coaching change happens. Until then, they will die on the vine.
