How is Lsu ranked higher than us ?

That's you at the end of the season. When you figure out the media, polls, and Ncaa. Hates and screwed your team out the playoffs
If we beat Clemson and run the table it will be hard to leave us out.....im in the company of Clemson will murk us so u know. Im just hoping for it to be close.....but is there a possibility of being left out? Yes depends on what happens to other squads. We wont know till we know

First of all, the preseason rankings mean nothing.

Secondly, they beat us soundly.

Thirdly, they beat Auburn who was ranked in the top 10 at the time.

Lastly, we have no quality wins to move up in the rankings and we won't for the remainder of the regular season. The only way we are moving up is if we keep winning and the teams in front of us get 2 losses.

Fortunately, I counted at least 6 teams in front of us that will have at least 2 losses because of head to head competition. They are: 2 teams of Michigan, Wisconsin, or Penn State; 2 teams of either Texas, Oklahoma, or West Virginia; and 2 teams of Florida, LSU , or UGA. So, we could move up to the top ten if we win out in the regular season. I don't think there's a possibility that we can make the CFP even if we win the ACC. Notre Dame would need to lose. If ND wins out, Clemson could get left out of the CFP because they don't have any real quality wins and really need UM to win out and be in the top 10 for the ACC Championship game.

UCF at #10 is a joke. They don't have a quality win. They are given credit for beating Auburn last year which is completely stupid. This is a new season. You should be judged for what you do this year not in the past. Colorado is undefeated yet they are #19. They have better wins than UCF. When the CFP Committee puts out their 1st ranking, I think UCF will be ranked around #20. Sadly, we might be at #19 or #20 because we don't have any marquee wins either and won't even get an opportunity unless we win the Coastal and face Clemson in the ACC Championship. The fact is the ACC is down this year.

UCFs fanbase does a good job *****ing and crying about woe is me. for the matter, i do not think UCF is bad, but their nonstop misunderstanding of schedules and conference is annoying. if you play a p5 team once in a while and win, that's cool, but you cant complain about most p5 schedules bc everyone else plays those types of teams weekly. the wear and tear of a tougher conference (talent on up) is a lot diff in most p5s than it is in the AAC w a few p5s mixed in. either way, with ND likely going unbeaten, they'll be left out if there is a 1 loss ACC champ, SEC Champ, and 1 loss pac 12/b12 champ (depends on texas and washington really).

Who gives a **** about the rankings? The only way we have a shot of making the playoffs is winning out and beating Clemson. The ranking will sort itself out.

UCF has zero chance of CFP. They're really around a #20 team.

Last I checked they bent us over about a month ago....

Other than that dude .....what’s your point?

So what they mounted us like dogs in heat and pounded our asses into submission.

We won the pre game.

The guy in the video is a perfect portrait of you.

Yeah yeah yeah. Doesn’t change the fact that it was a DUMB question. Unless you’ve been like living under a rock and haven’t been following cfb for the last 15 years. So I’ll give you few reasons why lsu is still ranked ahead of us.

1. sec bias

2. they smashed us h2h

3. we have not beat a good team yet.

lolol Thats just 3, and I could go on but you probably still wouldn’t get it lol

They're not even playing good P5 teams. They played Pitt and had UNC scheduled. They're a very good non P5 but that's a #20-25 team at best. They probably get a New Year's 6 game again. At the end of the day, UM and UCF could wind up in the Peach Bowl or Fiesta Bowl and NOT against each other.

Miami was ranked 8th in the beginning polls when we lost to LSU who was 25 in the polls. Last weekend LSU was ranked 5th I believe in the polls and Florida was rank 22 nd when they beat LSU, how is LSU ranked higher than us. College football rankings are a joke. I know we are way better than Florida
Until we actually beat somebody like Clemson the perception of the canes won't change.this is getting way too old people around asking this.it's always been like this the powers that be are doing everything they can to keep us down.hope the coaches or players don't do something stupid to facilitate it.eyes will be watching and it's not to help but hurt us.

i agree with you. im saying their social media cause def helps imo bc so many writers just side with them (the ones who vote on the AP poll). i 1000 percent agree that they're good but not where they think they are or that they should be where they are now. props to them for not losing a game in 18 tries or w.e. their streak is, but it is a diff when you play a better talent pool. i always tell them to get their school to figure out a way to get into a p5 (b12). pay whoever you need to pay, any amount of money, but till then stop *****ing bc before UCF, there was TCU, BSU (who actually scheduled tough p5s), HOU (scheduled OU), etc. TCU went to a real conference and BSU ended up staying in the MW but they played UGA in a neutral (if you call it that) site game. HOU played top 10 OU after winning the peach bowl against FSU.

I guess your saying you think there is a formula (behind the polls) that each team can use to determine where they will be ranked after their game. Come on dude you know there are so many factors out there that finding one and trying to act like that is the only variable is just lame. Bottom line... win out or stfu.

Because they beat us and they rightfully should be unless they get a 2nd loss

Got zero problem with LSU ahead of us but UF shouldn't be. And for them to be ranked ahead of Kentucky, who handled them at Floriduh horse ****t. Texas also moved up ridiculously high. They lost to a terrible team. BS they are trying to stack the deck.
