How is Alex Collins not a 5-star recruit?

Gotta focus on this years class first.

Sony seems like he is a big Cane fan.

Why wouldn't he want to be part of a great backfield (hoping that Duke and Collins are studs).

Gore, McGahee, and Portis didn't seem to mind too much.

Collins is the best back in the state.....and right now it seems that he's likely to decommit and verbal somewhere else. Not really worried, since recruiting doesn't get serious until the football season is over. Just keep building a relationship with the kid for now.

Perfect analysis..no joking at all man.We all know the scouting services try to escort more ND,BAMA, FSU, & USC fans with their content.Who cares where we are ranked. 3- star Perryman is an all-acc talent, 2-star Darius Smith is a big contributor for us.

McGahee probably never even starts here is Gore didn't blow out his ACL, well would've started at FB, that's absurd.
 
who gives a **** if he's a 5 star? if he comes here i hope he plays like an AA. could give a **** less if he's a one star or 60 star.

The same reason a guy like Duke struggled to get his "due" until he blew the roof off or a guy like Portis never really got his "due" from the networks. The reason is size. The networks have to protect themselves in the rankings. It's sensible.

And, anyone who claims another RB has better feet than Alex Collins needs to show me proof in specific video clips. It's not Kelvin Taylor.
