How has CV affected you & what are you doing for entertainment?

I do automation/strategy at a large bank dealing specifically with business loans, so I'm busy.

I got out of LA 3.5 weeks ago and am staying in Idaho. I'll stay here until things cool down.

My father is 84 and my mom is 81 and are going through the same thing (they aren't together). Make sure those boys of yours are calling you enough for your liking. If they aren't, tell them to call more!

and if they aren't, take them out of the will!! lol

My business have been cut in half; absolutely sucks in my line of work, but I’m still working and have residuals.

Been cooking like crazy, though. Like gourmet Louisiana cuisine. Just got done making some shrimp & cheese grits. Trying to get a job at @caneinorlando kitchen when this all done. Lol

Please share some recipes if you have any!

Ever since I had Shrimp and grits in Charleston SC I can't get enough of it. That added to my usual Louisiana cuisine, walking, exercising and cable has kept me healthy and sane

So @caneinorlando is hiring? Good to know
**** nah I'm not hiring....Lol...Had to Lay people off last week....What a F-ing mess...at home today messing with the Garden....

As I am retired & on social security, no affect on income, however my IRA portfolio is taking a beating, Told my sons their inheritance was taking a big hit. As I am old as dirt (82) & just had open heart surgery this past Oct. I am pretty much staying at home & read the newpaper daily, surf the net, watch tv (have netflix) more than I ever have, call my friends and read novels. Just got some books by Patterson & Balducci. While I like myself, I am getting real tired of my own company.
Old people are the only ones that read newspapers anymore.

My 93 old father-in-law passed away this morning. Not Covid-19 related. He'd been in a nursing home for 2 weeks and the hospital 2 weeks prior. None of us had seen him for 3 weeks - including my mother-in-law - due to them being on lock down. It was a blessing and a curse for my mother-in-law. She had to stay home and rest but worried constantly.

The main reason I'm sharing this is to shed some light on just another way this **** virus affects us in many unseen ways.

Keep your chins up my friends! This too shall pass.

Stocks will come back so tell your kids not to worry. My asked me about inheritance a few day back and I gave them to address of couple casinos and a cruise line who are holding their money. For kids with advanced degrees it took long time for them to figure that out. You take your entertainment were you can. On serious note, as much I a love the feel of paper with print on it, I would not touch newspaper -- read in on line. I had heart attack few years back and are younger than you but keeping myself closed off as possible. I think this virus has been way overblown but for guys like us it is deadly. I'm still working, from home for the last few years, so not really bore but it get old to not get out. Stay safe.

Supposed to be baseball/softball season for my household.

Got a son and a daughter playing Varsity sports, another son playing JV, and a 10yr old daughter in travel softball.

Typically busy as ****, but not right now. So been cooking a lot and working out with the kids at home mostly.

My company is considered essential, so fortunately I can still work and my wife works from home.
