Clinton Portis was incredible! He was awesome! All the hype he gets is well deserved! He was a great mix of speed, vision, lateral quickness, burst, long speed, strength and had enough power.

Clinton was just a different breed. All those guys like Antrell Rolle, Najeh Davenport, Jon Vilma, DJ Williams, Sean Taylor, Willis McGahee, Edgerrin James, Jeremy Shockey, Kellen Winslow Jr., Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Vince Wilfork, Jerome McDougle, Phillip Buchanon, Joaquin Gonzalez, Bryant Mckinney and Frank Gore were just different.

His performances in big games were epic, PSU, FSU, VaTech, UW, etc. He was a guy who dragged his numbers down against the lesser competition they played. Remember that big TD run in the Gator Bowl against GaTech.

Top 5 in my eyes for those big game performances. The fact the old ball coach didn’t prioritize him in his own back yard makes him even greater.
