Yea, Ridley's age doesn't mean **** to me. This is college, not the NFL. He can dominate on this level and he would've been the most talented receiver that we had in years.

Not even close... coley in a landslide

lol....I don't know what you're looking at to say "Coley in a landslide". Both tapes are impressive but I think Richards looks like a more natural pass catcher with better body control when he goes up to get the ball. One other thing that I like more about Richards is that he looks like he's all buisness on the field while Coley looks like he plays around a little too much. Richards just shows a greater degree of mental maturity at this stage in his development, IMO..

Coley left all of his attitude issues on and off the field behind in highschool. Regardless we have both of them which is great as well as Bruce, Mullins, cager, berrios and Lewis

What? Like how he had two unsportsmanlike penalties for taunting in back to back games last year. Lets hope richards has a tighter vagin@ then this dude.

That's nothing compared what he did in highschool.... Those calls on him were bullsh*t to begin with... Had it been any other receiver say like Duke or whatever it wouldn't be called

Miami fans are delusional. I don't get how Richards is being compared to cooper, Watkins and Ridley. Ridely was the number 1 wide receiver and played like it. Destroyed anybody who lined up in front of him. Richards is nice but on Ridely level just stop it lol.

Coley is a 1st round pick / Pro Bowler if he wants to be.

He's definitely one of the best in the class but there is no one who is a clear cut #1 in the class because you can argue about 6 or so recruits in the class can be the best overall. Which is great for Miami and tells you what type of talent we brought in this class

Am I the only one not that high on Coley in regards to this? I mean he has speed but isn't a natural-hands catcher and doesn't possess the make you miss type of moves that Cooper/Watkins/Ridley have.

Coley has BETTER make you miss moves than Sammy Watkins/Cooper/Ridley (Thats Coley's bread and butter)...Cooper and Watkins are known for being the prototypical size and being sound/fluid route runners, attacks the ball, and comes down with it. I refuse to put Ridley in the same group as 2 NFL wide receivers no matter what he did in 1 year of college offense against ****ty SEC pass defenses. He also got shut down in the bowl game by Clemson who didn't even have their best CB in the game the whole second half. Cooper and Watkins didn't get shut down by pedestrians

Coley made some fabulous downfield catches last season. He'll be even better this year. Great hands.

Calvin Ridley was a grown *** man playing against 16-17 year olds. All you need to know about Ridley is that he is a 21 year old freshman. Like it or not in football physical maturity makes a huge difference. It is why you dont jump from high school to the NFl.. you would get creamed. Richards is not better thsn Ridley now, but let's revisit this convo in two years and Richards has the potential /toolsto be better. Dropping 1300 yards his junior year and 24 tds tells me all I need to know about Richards. He also went ti Georgia per his coach and destroyed everyone in their 7 on 7's.. he's a monster!

you said he had gpod games only against weak opponents. I gave you an example of how that wasmt true . But I guess he was "doing nothing" when he led the team in all purpose yards as a freshman and was named freshman all American.

I don't know if he's elite but your second statement is false IMO. He balled out against FSU.
