How good is Richards?

I'm trying to get a sense of his talent and what to expect from him.
How does he compare to these guys?

Watkins
Cooper
Ridley
Calloway
Rudolph
Coley

(I'm no expert. But I see him as better than Rudolph and Coley, equal to Calloway and Ridley but behind Cooper and Watkins...)

Hes not better then Coley, but he is better then Rudolph, and calloway. behind Ridley, Cooper , Watkins
Agree with Vern

Richards is better than Coley coming out of high school IMO. Coley might have been a step faster but, to me, Richards looks like he has better hands and body control. Just looks more polished at this stage than Coley did IMO..

Richards is a better overall receiver coming out of highschool but coley was faster and more explosive IMO

How many wide receivers have we had, in the last 10-12 years, who you'd truly call "elite?"

We had many with the potential to be "elite". However, they were anointed the next great before they actually did anything at the college level. If you look at the few that are in the league today and you will find them among the league leaders. Why, because they are being coached up to the highest level of play.

The absolute ONLY things standing in the way of BOTH Richards & Bruce being eventual first round picks are 3 years of hard work and good health.

most experts veiw richards as a day 1 contributor like ridley. they see a kid can have a huge impact , could even be number 1 wr by end of freshman year much like ridley. so there is that

truth is it will take us more then 1 yr of all them to compare to cooper or watkins they did it for 3 yrs where were top notch wr's to compare a kid hasn't played yet to them is hard.

will know more in 3 yrs but in 3 yrs i expect him to be talked about like cooper and watkins

Richards senior season :

51 catches 1037 yds 14 Tds

This on a scrub team.. basically we got a monster that will plat with Coley and Bruce at the same time.

Ridley was only eligible for 3 games his senior season because of his age.

also, that was with a new qb. he had 1300yds and 24td's as a junior, with their last qb

I'm still trying to figure out how there were 20+ receivers 247 sports thought were better than Richards. ..

I still like Richards more after the side-by-side highschool tape comparison.

This will be an interesting year for Coley. It's a contract year. Now or never. He's the #1 WR in a wide-open Richt offense with one of the best QBs in the country. If he doesn't put up numbers now, it'll never happen.

Richards is the better receiver, coley is the most explosive out of the two

Did Ahmmon Richards go up against a D1 CB at Wellington?

Antwaine Richardson from Atlantic ended up at Maryland

Lies Richardson didn't play his senior year try again lol

Lie?? I didn't know that. Simply looked up the players on the teams he played against. How old are you?? You're acting like your twelve. PBC is probably down from what it was a decade ago, but it's still really good football. Plenty of D-1 football talent is still coming out of the county. I'll stand by my comment that the competition Richards played against was very good. I didn't say elite, but seeing that several of the teams he played against had 4-5 kids sign with D-1 programs he isn't going against chopped liver.

Amazing that we've only recruited five Florida wrs in the last 3 years and one, Brady, is gone and another, Langham, has barely played....That leaves the 3 in the new class. Gots to change...

Not even close... coley in a landslide

lol....I don't know what you're looking at to say "Coley in a landslide". Both tapes are impressive but I think Richards looks like a more natural pass catcher with better body control when he goes up to get the ball. One other thing that I like more about Richards is that he looks like he's all buisness on the field while Coley looks like he plays around a little too much. Richards just shows a greater degree of mental maturity at this stage in his development, IMO..

Coley left all of his attitude issues on and off the field behind in highschool. Regardless we have both of them which is great as well as Bruce, Mullins, cager, berrios and Lewis
