How Good is Notre Shames Running Back Room?

Fletch shouldn't really played last year due to the Lisfranc. **** most RBs career is over with that injury. You cant teach his some traits he has but I am firm Lyle is the best of the bunch and 1st round talent.
Not giving him first round yet but he’s a good back. I have to see more to be like “yo that’s an absolute first rounder”. Haven’t seen that yet (for me at least)

Some can see it early, some cannot. I said 1st round talent....His size and HR speed is 1st round talent.

Love is the best RB in America.

We might have a better room.

I'm so pumped for Mark Fletcher. Dude has had his first healthy off-season. That's huge for him. Lyle is the best #2 RB in America, imo. If he is #2.

God truly blessed us with a Week 1 matchup vs. ND!!!!

Notre Dame’s running backs aren’t good, their

There’s an obsession about getting on a soapbox and being objective to prove you’re a better fan than other people

Im not sure yet where the cutoff is timeline wise but it’s soon

It will be unacceptable behavior
I’m not sure I understand as written. I think there’s a problem with a lack of objectivity on here amongst a group of UM fans whether they’re MarioBros or just Cane-shaded homers. Conversely, if someone ***** on everything and doesn’t acknowledge legit positives that’s also not objective. Having said that, if legit positives are far and few between then there can objectively be little to praise. That’s not the posters’ fault. Regardless, repeat slurping or moping can be annoying to me even where I agree.

There’s an old saying

“You find what you’re looking for”

I don’t really see an issue with Mario bros because I think I gloss over everything they’re saying as satire

But I was just being somewhat sarcastic. I get being objective and bringing level headed opinions just saying as we get closer to the game I’m gonna be absolutely **** faced on Kool Aid

Strange how Vegas doesn't know that Love is the best RB ever to lace up. They see Miami putting up a fight with a team that was in the championship game last year.

Hang on there buddy

You gotta wait for the posters to tell us about sharp movement as we get closer to the game and how we should feel about our chances

I’m not falling for it this season but I support you in this and hope your optimism’s basis becomes reality. I’ve said 8 wins. If we beat ND, my entire prediction goes out the window because that will mean that the middle of our front seven on defense, my biggest concern, held up. If that happens, I’ll go from 8 wins to ACCCCG/playoff spot mode.

So the biggest problem with Miami's last couple of DC's is we go into these games against teams with one dimensional, predictable offenses.

Sometimes we even have an entire bye week to prepare for the game against the team with the one dimensional offense...

The DC very specifically breaks down the one dimensional offense of the opponent during press availability. The players are all aware of the opponents one dimensional offense. They seem to understand ther assignment.

And then the whistle blows and it's as if the team spent the entire time not knowing exactly what the one dimensional team is going to do (see GT game for example). Everybody in the stands knows what's coming. Everybody watching at home sees it. And yet, it's 2nd and 1 and we're dropping back DE's in coverage.

It's like the DC overthought the whole thing thinking, "Well all they do is run the ball, so they're going to think we've been prepping for them to only running the ball, but I'll show them I play chess, so we'll prep for a heavy pass attack."

Heatherman's mission is clear for this game. Let's see what he's about.

It’s all context right?

If someone is optimistic and explains themselves well then it’s cool even if I don’t agree and vice versa

I picked 9 wins fwiw but I’m still open to being belligerent about winning the whole thing

I can see 9 wins as I have been thinking the UF game could be a loss but that was based on a healthy and improving Lagway. Lagway has been held out of spring practice and now he’s missing the start of fall practice. He desperately needs reps. H may or may not play in the 1st two games against Long Island and USF but then there’s LSU and then us. I don’t see how he’s going to be the threat now that Ive expected

Your whole post made my head hurt. You weren't wrong at all, it just sucked reading it.

I’m more concerned about the 3 November road games than UiF or Notre Dame

If ever there was evidence it’s Mario’s horrifying record in November/December here

So really I can see almost anyone’s POV on our record this year

I agree. We could be undefeated going into November and lose all of the November games. Beating ND doesn’t guarantee no season ending collapse as in the past.
