Sanders Tears

If Milroe goes before Sanders....Deion gonna petition to see if Sheduer can come back to Colorado.

They brought Milroe there to design the green room not get drafted because he is awful.

Nevermind! If he fell in this draft, next year he liable to be a UDFA with that QB class.

The NFL teams are saying, you are a backup son. Deal with it!

Legendary!!!!

I only liked Cam as a qb. Was happy the giants took Carter though. I do like that Milroe can run that’s it, I would have taken him in the fourth and just let him run. But beating Indy cost the giants Cam. I’m cool with having mad pass rushers though, that’s how you build the team. Pass rushers and OL and hit on a qb, a qb doesn’t have to carry a team with a great OL and DL

When does the "best QB in the 2025 draft class" get selected?
Only people that care is the nut huggers who were secret deion circle jerkers. Plenty of us said last year this kid ain't no first round QB and wouldn't even be in that discussion if not for the hype you got cause of pops. All the same good luck to him and Travis. Just think in both cases it's not realistic expectations.

I think Cleveland has two of the first five picks in the second round so they might grab him with one of those. I feel bad for anyone drafted by the Cleveland Browns, but maybe not this time.
Cleveland has the 1st and 4th picks in round 2. Yes, I'm a Browns fan lol. I don't see any scenario where they pick Sanders...after the Watson fiasco they know they know they need to get this right, which is why they traded down last night. The Browns will select Milroe with one of those 2 picks

This. Wonder how many remember the 1st reference lol
Or the second.

The Fortay stuff happened while I was in school. I always wondered how someone could sue a school cuz his kid wasn't playing enough.

I remember when Todd was coming up through USCw and hearing about how he was groomed since childhood to be a star QB, only to flame out quickly with the Raiders, then went on to HIGHER learning as he explored things like methamphetamine hallucinations and naked neighborborhood strolls.

I don't think it was a "secret" club.

Totally.

I'm not even one to complain about ESPN's "nArRaTiVe", but it was bewildering to switch from ESPN to the NFL network after the fifth pick. On ESPN, the panel was actually talking over live Draft content in order to provide outdated editorializations that were detached from reality. On the NFL network, the panel moderator (Eisen) would politely wrap speculative discussion with a "well, I guess we're about to find out" as soon as Goodell came into view.

Part of me wants to dig for an NFL network recording of the event so I can see what the first thirty minutes were like without ESPN's stupid and tone-deaf editorializing.

P.S. Louis Riddick was the lone bright spot- though I think his presence on the panel actually hurt, because it lulled me into keeping ESPN on. I should have known that the unbearable Mike Greenberg, the doofus Booger McFarland, and the senile Mel Kiper would dominate the mic. Even the talentless hack Adam Schefter (his face a slurry of cumstains and Botox injection marks) was a relief compared to those three clowns. Whoever directed the ESPN coverage should submit their résumé to North Korean state media.
We put NFL Network on at 5pm to start watching the pre-show. I had no idea about all the Shadeur talk until I read about it here on the board. They never really mentioned him that I can remember, and they never showed any highlights or anything of him.

They showed so much Cam, however. It was great. I really wish everyone had been able to watch it, if that ESPN didn’t suck. Cam is such an incredible role model and, IMO, that should be ESPN’s story.

Why would they pick Milroe if they are trying to get it right?
IMO they see Milroe as a bigger Lamar Jackson, someone who can keep defenses honest with the run. Sanders put up better stats, but Milroe was really good in 2023. Sanders takes too many sacks and his #s were inflated playing for daddy.

I mean, other than Cam, there really is no good option at QB, so they'll risk a 2nd round pick on Milroe IMO, and they can always draft a QB next year as they now have two 1st round picks. We'll find out soon enough...

Sorry but that's an awful take. Teams should be ashamed of themselves if they draft this kid in round 2.

His parent were nuts. I recall they controlled every aspect of his life down to his special diet that he wasn’t allowed to deviate from.

It's the Browns were talking about...the same team who threw away 6 draft picks and $230 million guaranteed to a sexual predator when they had Baker Mayfield who led them to their only playoff victory in nearly 30 years
