How does the ACC shape up next year?

And the ACC is currently 5-5 against the SEC, so by using that logic, the Big 12 is also better than the SEC by a wide margin? 🧐
No, because transitive is not a logical way to evaluate games not played, you wouldn’t use that logic. and it’s 5-6 now with our playoff win.

Cant tell until the portal additions are made. I would suspect gonna be much of the same teams. I really hope we finally steamroll every last one of these teams. Its time.

I expect VT to make a solid jump.

NC State will regress.

FSU will still be bad.

SMU might be the 2nd best team in ACC.

Clemson, stagnant. Maybe slightly better record.

Duke...idk. top QB in ACC, but not very good team.

UVA, dont see them improving.

UL, can be up there with SMU. Gotta see what they get at QB.

GT, will they keep Philo?

Miami, SMU, UL, GT, Clemson top 5 teams.
Gotta see what Miami gets at QB too

If you want to ignore data and go on your opinion, I can’t stop you. Also while bowl games don’t mean much, we just took another L in the pop tarts so 1-7 now, and Pitt gave us another g5 loss today.
While I think GT genuinely tried against BYU, I put zero stock in bowls outside of the CFP for P4 teams. These have become glorified exhibitions.

Does virginia lose the team or are they mostly back? They look solid in the bowl game, i would assume their success next season hinges on chandler morris getting his waiver approved

I don’t disagree, especially now with too many players hanging it up for the draft or the portal to be very meaningful. I would still rather the conference win them than lose them though for perceptions sake.

I could see Pitt having a good year and challenging for one of those top 5 spots. That Freshman QB can be real good if he stays. Otherwise, that sounds about right.

In terms of teams I expect to see a bump up? VT obviously could see them getting to 8wins depending how well they hit on the portal

In terms of teams on the down trend? GT lost quality coaches and lost the heart of that team in Haynes. Could see a rough year for them breaking in new players and following up on a let down year where they were “in” the playoffs for 80% of the season
