Mine too, so no worries.Unfortunately, this is going right over my head...
He owned the websiteHighly unlikely, since I incorporated the entity that registered canesmutiny.com.
Perhaps you owned canemutiny (singular cane).
Good movies though I only saw it once back in the 90’s. Don’t remember a thing.Seriously?

Nice avatar by the way. I can work with this.I know the movie backwards and forwards (hence my namesake), but missed the reference entirely because I’ve never actually seen what Chinese finger cuffs look like.
Actual footage of me finally figuring it out.

I don’t know if I saw that Furman letter. I’ve seen his unhinged DM’s with @CDWright40 (Ecush), @Dr.L.ThugU and the fellas. It’s literally some of the funniest **** I’ve ever seen on CISWe owned multiple domain names, including RealCaneTalk and HurricaneMutiny. They all landed at the same website.
The Bruce Feldman book was called Cane Mutiny. The domain name canemutiny.com was unavailable, so we registered hurricanemutiny.com. That's why I asked about the (singular cane) domain registration, because it was already taken in 2008 when I incorporated and registered hurricanemutiny.com. That's also why I thought the singular version might have been his domain name. I thought another of the RCT/Hurricane Mutiny owners then registered canesmutiny (plural), but I could be wrong on that, he may have just tried and been unsuccessful.
Our use of the name was dual, both to pay tribute to the Bruce Feldman book, but to also reference some of the colorful terminology that was used at the time to describe all of us choosing to leave CaneSport. Several years ago, I think I forwarded you the threatening e-mail that Gary Fur-Man sent to me, where he compared what we were doing to vandalizing a 7-11, and where he gave indications that he might sue us. So we used the skull & crossbones pirate flag as part of the artwork for the site.

I was on Canesport.
Then a bunch of us got tired of Ferman's nonsense, hence RCT.
As a member of RCT, I Iurked this forum. A few years later I joined.
Been reading this forum for a long time come to think of it.
I love this stuff
I was banned by David Lake on 247 for calling out TVD and landed on CIS the home I never knew existedHow did you find CanesInSight? If more than one option applies than select both options. For example, if you have found CanesInSight due to a linked thread on Facebook then select both of those options.
Gary always ran a smoke and mirrors site where he looked for fans that would just take what he said as gospel and he used the rivals flag as the source of his credibility. Anyone who questioned his reporting would get banned. He loved citing the fog of war for a week or two before NSD and he would just straight up make up stories about committed players looking around to generate clicks. I used to catch a ban annually for calling out his nonsense. That would lead to him pitching a fit in DMs.I don’t know if I saw that Furman letter. the only thing that kept that place afloat was a superior format for their forum. Very user friendly. Took me forever to get used to things over here.
