Ha! Born and raised in the County of Dade! It all started when in the late 70’s - early 80’s, they use to send school buses to the local parks and pick us shorties up and take us to the games. My location was Madison Middle (NW 32nd Ave). They sat us way up in the nose bleeds. The stadium was empty in those days so by halftime most of us were down in the lower level watching the game. I was hooked and been a life long fan ever since - never wavered. It was a brilliant strategy by the school and it was the beginning of the inner city Miami kids staying home and playing for the Canes. I’ve since lived all over the country, currently in Dallas, but always a Miami Hurricane.
