How can anyone support Stephen Ross?

Is he really "the worst?" Dolphins currently have the 12th highest salary in the NFL. The stadium was significantly upgraded and is now an attractive venue for all kinds of events, including international soccer matches. They tanked to draft a highly touted QB. The fans--at the time--were ecstatic.

Dolphins haven't been able to win on the field but it doesn't seem like it's Ross's direct fault IMO. GM and coaching staff are a clown show. It's Ross's fault insofar as he hired or approved the hires of these clowns, but there aren't many NFL owners who know anything about football. Flores was also highly respected before he came here. There were high expectations for him because of his history with Bellichick.

Ross has also pledged to donate HALF of his estate to charity upon death, and is the largest donor in U-Mich's history. He supported the Tebow thing but a lot of South Florida fans love Tebow, and Ross did go to UF for 2 years before transferring to that other UM.
This guy knows a thing or two. ☝🏾👏🏾👍🏾

Disagree strongly with this. Ross is a victim of his poor hires. Those poor hire fall solely at the feet of Ross but to say he's the worst owner in the NFL is a very inaccurate statement. The guy invests and spends the money necessary to win. He's one of the most charitable owners in the NFL. Look at how much the Dolphins invest in the community. We're always big time players in free agency. That guaranteed money has to be paid in whole as it has to be placed in an escrow account for the player. Think about how much money Ross has paid since owning the Dolphins.

The guys tries and doesn't hesitate in trying to improve the team. Look at the indoor practice facility he built. The Dolphins we're one of the first teams to invest in sport's psychologists and world class holistic trainers for the players. He was on board with the Deshaun Watson trade as long as Watson settled with his accusers. If Ross can get lucky and land his version of Belichek and Brady he'll be more appreciated.
I don't care how much he "invests in the community," even if that's true (I suspect that it's an overstatement, but I'm not interested anyway). This is a distraction from his job, which is to make the Dolphins a winner. The Dolphins are a loser.

"We're always big time players in free agency." What does that mean?

"If he can get lucky, he will be more appreciated."

I wish I could live life on such a beachball grading system.

Is anyone on Dolphins boards?
Miami obv draws students from all 50 states. Many many northeast kids. We aren’t phins fans.

That said, I like the banner flying idea. Force a sale. And change the logo. Looks soft. Bring back the old version.

We're always big time players in free agency means he willing to spend the money to improve the team.

A lot of our issues fall on poor drafting by GMs that Ross has hired, but his biggest fault is not being able to land a QB. Look at Green Bay, outside of QB have they really tried to win? No. Ross is trying, I can't kill him for that.
