How can anyone support Stephen Ross?

And it's been that way since day 1

This guy is a Real Estate mogul that doesn't know the 1st thing about football. His answer is and always has been to throw money at the problem. He gets conned every single time.
He wouldn’t even hire Tony Hernandez tho.

Worst owner of all time
Short memories around this place

Should fire anyone who didn’t openly and vehemently oppose drafting noodles. Tua is a franchise killer.
It takes Tanking for Tua to an entirely different place most Dolphin fans expected.

Thing that separates the NFL from business principles is that people keep showing up even when the product is crap. Their profits are always up. Would you go to Joe's if they started serving imitation crab meat instead of stone crabs? There is no real ramifications for an owner who has demonstrated he/she sucks as an owner. FYI Detroit has worst owners
Cincinnati has the worst owner. They don't even try to win and are openly cheap. The Bengals don't even have an indoor practice field.

Worst owner of all time
Disagree strongly with this. Ross is a victim of his poor hires. Those poor hire fall solely at the feet of Ross but to say he's the worst owner in the NFL is a very inaccurate statement. The guy invests and spends the money necessary to win. He's one of the most charitable owners in the NFL. Look at how much the Dolphins invest in the community. We're always big time players in free agency. That guaranteed money has to be paid in whole as it has to be placed in an escrow account for the player. Think about how much money Ross has paid since owning the Dolphins.

The guy tries and doesn't hesitate in trying to improve the team. Look at the indoor practice facility he just built, world class facility. The Dolphins were one of the first teams to invest in sport's psychologists and world class holistic trainers for the players. He was on board with the Deshaun Watson trade as long as Watson settled with his accusers. If Ross can get lucky and land his version of Belichek and Brady he'll be more appreciated.

Is he really "the worst?" Dolphins currently have the 12th highest salary in the NFL. The stadium was significantly upgraded and is now an attractive venue for all kinds of events, including international soccer matches. They tanked to draft a highly touted QB. The fans--at the time--were ecstatic.

Dolphins haven't been able to win on the field but it doesn't seem like it's Ross's direct fault IMO. GM and coaching staff are a clown show. It's Ross's fault insofar as he hired or approved the hires of these clowns, but there aren't many NFL owners who know anything about football. Flores was also highly respected before he came here. There were high expectations for him because of his history with Bellichick.

Ross has also pledged to donate HALF of his estate to charity upon death, and is the largest donor in U-Mich's history. He supported the Tebow thing but a lot of South Florida fans love Tebow, and Ross did go to UF for 2 years before transferring to that other UM.
