How bad must KC McDermott be??

With Gall being absolutely average AT BEST, is there any logical explanation for not moving Darling to left guard and plug in McDermott at left tackle? Darling is a turnstile on the outside and wasn't KC our most heralded OL signee since Seantrel and Reggie Youngblood? Kill 2 birds with 1 stone with this move.

Did you see Mcdermott at LT and RT? He looks like a Guard himself. Kinda like Brandon Linder. Someone better start measuring these HS players' arms/wingspans. Makes a significant difference.
 
Good thing we got rid of that selfish Gadbois kid. He wasn't gonna contribute anyway.

Did you see Mcdermott at LT and RT? He looks like a Guard himself. Kinda like Brandon Linder. Someone better start measuring these HS players' arms/wingspans. Makes a significant difference.

If you don't have long arms, you better have **** good feet. Long arms can help compensate for a lot of minor athletic flaws on the outside.
 
Darling had a decent game. He held up pretty well against some stout DLs. Now Gall is another story. He had at least 3 false starts. Maybe he has a hearing problem?

If we don't have any tackles worth a crap, then wouldn't it make more sense to bring Kaaya back under center to enhance running attack? Clearly Brad is our best weapon but standing him back there as clear focus point when he has developed under center(Cane DNA) ability surrenders too much of the running game. I'm not any sort of expert on these things but it is not historic Cane offense.

Esto. Darling plays much better at tackle than guard. McDermott is a guard all the way. I think our line would immediately get more physical if we moved McDermott inside and sat Gall down.
 
Kc played good vs fsu. Go back and look when he was at lt and rt he was much better than darling and sonny.

They should start kc, move darling to guard and put st.louis at rt.

St Louis
McDermott
Linder
Isidora
Darling
 
Sonny struggled big time in this game. The speed rushers give him problems for sure.

That being said Gall has no business being on the field. The best lineup for next game has to be Darling, McD, Linder, Isidora, Sonny. You best believe VT will expose Gall in a major way.

You could put a cardboard cutout of an offensive lineman out on the field and it would perform at Gall level. Guy is just bad and i keep seeing him get blown back by that Cincy dude in front of his fam.
