I think racism, social injustice & police brutality are grossly exaggerated. So no, I don’t find them of importance. In saying that, others do, and it is their constitutional right to participate.. just like with the rallies. You want selective freedom. I want complete freedom. You are letting emotion confuse your truth and perspective. It’s different for all.

It must suck to be you.

It’s not emotion, it’s more-so utilizing common sense and having a sense of what is truly going on in this country over the last 200 plus years. Also, protesting for a great cause is way more important than listening to some BS politician. It really doesn’t matter if you agree with the meaning behind the protests or not ...
We aren’t as far off as you think. I just refuse to be PC about all topics. This is all political. Look at the BLM coverage in 2016 vs any year before or after. 100x greater. I’m all for reform, open dialogue, etc but I also don’t think what’s right for some isn’t for others. Either we can congregate, protest, worship, work, etc or we can’t.

It’s called math. I look up their data and compare the population and age Groups.
Care to place this equation on the board? I’ve done the math and I didn’t see it quite as favorably.

Going to a rally to listen to Trump lie constantly is a little less important than people exercising their 1st amendment rights to protest against racism, social injustice, and police brutality, no???
You don’t get to decide what’s important to other people. Sure, to YOU it may be more important but the thing about freedom is we all get to make decision for ourselves

I was just going off of what it states in the constitution. Does it state in the constitution that going to a presidential rally is so important and is considered a sacred right for all Americans like it says in regards to protesting???

It couldn’t possibly be put there in jest.

Highly doubtful with your agenda history you’ve contributed throughout the years on this board. Much like this thread, it’s very clear what side of the line you’re on. I almost feel sorry for you but I rather spend that energy on people who are decent.

I’m on America’s side. If that makes you think I’m not decent (or deplorable), then think what you want. Just bc people disagree politically doesn’t make them immoral.

Absolutely. Freedom to assemble.
Okay, true, but when you’re talking about gathering to listen to a BS politician in Trump who we all know lies on a consistent basis, and then compare that act to people protesting on a serious issue such as racism and police brutality, you know **** well what any non-biased independent thinking individual would deem more important. Which goes back to my original point.
