Every week he gets to practice against #5 rated defensive line in CFB, gets to play against top rated edge rushers during the season, he's familar with the offense, and King knows he can count on him from day one. Plus, he goes from abscure to the limelight and if he plays well goes from UFA to minimum 6-7 round pick as long as he plays well.

Other teams can't offer all this.

I value my time at UM and wish the same for Mr. Williams. If anyone knows him, could you please pass on that message.

Newberg 247:

Houston graduate offensive tackle Jarrid Williams has informed the primary teams that are recruiting him — FSU, Baylor and Miami — that he intends to make a decision this weekend. Williams has been in contact with FSU the past two weeks, speaking at length with Mike Norvell and offensive line coach Alex Atkins. Williams also has connections at Baylor and Miami. Williams’ former high school coach is on staff at Baylor and Houston’s former starting quarterback D'Eriq King is at Miami. It’s unclear what day of the weekend he plans to announce his decision.
