No joke I would be happy with Bob Diaco. Guy is gonna completely turn UConn around. And he would make some new fun rivalries and trophies for us to win

That's it! We have a real candidate #653 .

Herman took over a loaded team with a soft schedule and you people think he is the greatest

You see what happened to the Buckeyes passing game since he left, I'm more impressed with that personally.

Herman has a pretty good QB in Postma. Yet they could only manage 17 against UConn. By the way, 7 of those points were on a 94 yard kickoff run back. Yes, a true offensive genius.

I've seen a big push for the Houston coach, is this someone we really want? I have a hard time wanting a coach struggling to beat a UConn team. Is it his offense that he's known for, or defense? I haven't watched much of Houston but just seeing the scores on TV...Just curious

He's playing without his starting qb, a qb that averages 4 td's a game.

So did Michigan State, and they beat Urban.

I gave up. People are going to generate their own narrative/excuses as to why they want Coach X, and Coach Y sucks.

None of these coaches are going undefeated...

Most of these coaches could come to UM and win the Coastal falling out of bed. These coaches are doing big things with guys that would never sniff a Big 3 offer.

Thats what real coaching is - maximizing what you have.

Wait.

So Urban, the Master lost today.

And Herman, the Graduate of the Urban school of football also lost today.

Somebody done took a chainsaw to that coaching tree.

No need to go full ******. He's the third string QB, that spent time at WR this year. Moved back due to ACL injury to backup.

After cameo at receiver Postma returns to QB as injury replacement

And for you to question Herman's offensive qualifications......come on dude. Pathetic.

Postma had originally played to join the UH football team as a walk-on and play receiver as a freshman in 2013. A week before he arrived, the former coaching staff informed him they would need him at quarterback. With David Piland and John O’Korn on the roster, Postma would be used as the scout-team quarterback.

If you start a topic about a coach and you don't even know his name, then I cannot take your opinion seriously.

One week ago: "Herman has the magic touch with backup QBs".
Today: "How is he supposed to beat UConn with a backup QB?"

man not really sold on Herman. maybe if we were i a rebuild process but i want a coach that can win now with the talent we have. the worst thing we can do is waste our current talent. i want a proven commodity and i'm not talking a guy with one winning season.

Absolutely not. We only want a coach who goes undefeated every season. Cross Urban and Sabin off the list as well.

In all seriousness, if they decide to pass on Butch Herman is my #1 choice. I hope that we can get one of those two.
