The ad at misouri hired him at houston. But it sounds like he might be going there or usce.
The University of South Central Eddington?
Yep. They might as well be.

Agree - he'd be better off staying at Houston than go to Maryland, IMO.
Either SEC or big stage program in prep for what he probably intends as his next step: the NFL.
Which is why Miami or USCw are the best choices for him. Come in, win big for 3-5 years and jump to the NFL.
He won't be a good NFL coach. We're seeing the whole spread option craze slowing down. You can sprinkle into your offense but you can't run an offense based on the spread.
Yeah but MD is a middle of the road program in the big 10...money or not
If his ultimate goal is the NFL, then Miami is a great place for him. He can win huge here, and the lack of real fan support will be a non-factor.Agree - he'd be better off staying at Houston than go to Maryland, IMO.

I like it. I'd hire him in a heart beat.
mizzou, maryland, USCe
all awful choices for a meteoric superstar in the making
weaker recruiting areas in tough conferences

And Missouri and South Carolina are middle of the road SEC teams.
If he wants to win NCs he'll find his way to UM.

A middle of the road ACC team? Odd logic.

If he's such a hot **** coach, he can win at Mo or SC.
And be in the SEC, where he can more quickly parlay that into an NFL gig.
He doesn't have to come to UM.
And oddly, only UM fans have discussed him coming here - when there are likely a half-dozen teams - including TEXAS - that may be wanting to hire him.
We're worse than middle of the road right now. But you know **** well what a real HC can do here. It's been proven repeatedly over the last 30 years.

On the other hand, Mizzou had one of the best HCs in college football and peaked at winning its conference and getting blown out in the SEC title game a couple times. South Carolina had another HOF HC, and they couldn't even win the SEC once in 10 years.

It's really simple. If Herman wants to win big and have a shot at the NFL, he'll land at Southern Cal or Miami. If he cares about stability, a college atmosphere and facilities, he'll end up at Mizzou or USCe. I think he's the type who cares about winning big.

He cares about atmosphere too. He was ****ed that more fans haven't been coming to the games.
