He was 7-5, Oregon was 4-8 the year before under Helfrich.

My point was that He had everything going for Him at Oregon, He left Cristobal sittin' pretty.

F that Silly *******....Ive been Super close friends with the Biggest FSU Fan known to man....Entire family are Nole Grads...Granddad is a Huge Booster....Became friends with him in 89 when I lived in the Panhandle (he lives in Grayton Bch)...He wont sugar coat ****....hes beside himself over Taggert.....When I lived in Destin I was an Executive Chef, and bought alot of my Seafood at Sextons Seafood....Ex FSU RB Coach Billy Sextons brother owns it....Became friends with him as well....another one shakin his head.

I do agree the rape scandals while at Baylor did take away some opportunities he would have gotten, but that doesn't take away from his skill as an OC.

I actually think he’s gonna be good, I’m just waiting to see what he does w a P5 program. He may be elite, but the evidence we have is with FAU and Houston....he hasn’t gone against elite talent and coaching every week.

Thankfully he doesn’t have all the tools he needs at FSU today.

Oregon finished 18th in recruiting under Taggart and finished better than that under Mario. Their record also improved under Mario.

But that 7-6 run at Oregon was so impressive Willie would have had job security for life. 😂

True. I only posted the graphs to show the improvement he brought to the offense year one with basically the same talent.

I'm a die hard Cane and I hope Manny runs the score up on FSU but I'm not going to act like FSU doesn't have the talent or coaching to be good this year.

They have the same question marks on their team as we do... O line and QB.

1st off let me start off by saying Willie owes everything to Quinton Flowers who saved his job as USF because yes they were getting ready to fire him and no way would he have parlayed that into Oregon and then FSU.


2nd there is no guarantee Briles will be there long term. My buddy who lives in L.A. and is a USC alum is pretty plugged in and he's hearing that Helton just short of making the playoffs is gone next year and they're looking at Jack del Rio as HC possibly (think what Az state did with herm) but they want Briles as the OC

He had the #5 recruiting class before He left, they were 18th after He left.

And you may think that my job security comment is funny, but saying He would've fell flat on His face is hilarious considering He'd never fell flat on His face at His previous 2 stops before Oregon...and Phil Knight was practically begging Him to stay.
