That was a thing of beauty. Couple clowns from the wax museum.Anything less than 9 wins and Ruiz/Frenk need to give serious consideration to firing Mario. I know we're not that lucky, but that's what should happen, should he go 8 or less wins. Two years in a row of underperfornance.
Why wasn't our ST's ready to block for that punt? Rutgers didn't make a great play, we just F'ed it up. That changed the complexion of the game.

This is Marioās ideal offenseā¦ groundā¦ poundā¦ suckā¦ lose.Mario needs to find pieces key pieces in the portal & then hand control of the offense to coordinator. Obviously, OC was handcuffed this year by QB play, but two years in not sure what a Miami offense is supposed to look like.
With the QB situation, 8 wins seem unlikely. We need a Stud at QB and a stud at WR.Year 1 - 5 wins
Year 2 - 7 wins
Year 3 - ?

All four of the NC participating teams this year have solid to very strong quarterback play. Penix and Ewers are both NFL level quarterbacks. Focusing on Texas, despite recruiting near countless blue chip quarterbacks since 2005, after Colt McCoy the first true upper tier player that they had was Ewers. Itās no coincidence that they rolled through their opposition with him. And when he was hurt, they barely won.The only way Miami is going to win 10 or more games is by lucking into a legitimate NFL-level prospect at quarterback.
