Why do we need a lousy FB who is scared to block taking up a spot on offense when we are loaded at WR? That guy should never sniff the field. Wouldn't the best idea be to get as many playmakers on the field as possible?

Standish should be in for this dude and challenge the LBs in space with passes out of the backfield clearing the way for crossing route by the receiver.

absolutely, and if ur gonna put a useless body who poses no threat from an offensive standpoit, put wyche or something, even a herndon or a njoku, this guy whiffs on everything and is completely unaccointed for from a playmaking standpoing

I mentioned this in another thread post-Louisville abortion, but what do you think puts more pressure on a defense? Having Regula in the backfield or putting another receiver and going four wide?

Would a defense rather see Herb Waters (for example) on the field or Regula?

Not only that but it basically tells the defense we're running. And in the event that we were passing, Regula would be a complete non-factor in the passing game. Stick Gus in there and employ a 2 back look.

This **** has Greaseball's sweaty conservative sausage fingers all over it. I don't see a need at UM to have a useless FB on the field. Ever. This area is absolutely loaded with impact WRs.

Why would you not spread it out and take advantage of the roster you can recruit best in South Florida? Instead, Greaseball insists on running his Joe Ped I-formation power football with a FB who avoids contact like he's autistic.

This. All of our best players on offense are small running backs who can catch and wide receivers. Makes sense to run a zone blocking, multiple TE offense I guess.
