Watching the The U Part 2 and it makes me reflect on how similar the situation is for Golden as it was for Butch Davis. Planes with flying signs, Herald asking for a firing, and Canes fans crying and feeling sorry for themselves. Butch lost 3 in a row to FSU, Golden 4; records and situations very similar situations with scholarships, etc.

I want to be clear I am not for Golden and I dont give a S**T who coaches this team, I am about The U and I want to win.

I am an optimist and I can't wait until we win our 6th National Championship! F**K the ACC and the Independence Bowl!

Butch was struggling to hold scrimmages he was down so many guys, Golden has 8-10 draft picks and he went 6-6.

The problem is Butch's 12 and 15 kid recuiting classes are better then Golden 20-25 kid recruiting class. Also 4 years in and Golden is getting raped in S FLA recruiting. We have an ACC type Freshman QB and a pretty medicore WR depth chart and we can't get a 4 star WR to save our lives. Davante Phillips could start and get 1000 yards next year but he rather goto FSU and be the #4 WR and be lucky to get 300 yards with them breaking in a new QB. Now that Golden being exposed as a fraud recruiter he pretty much worthless.

Butch was dealing with 30 lost scholarship ... We are missing ****** 9 ....

Not one damned similarity.

Butch Davis started losing his 31 scholarships right out of the gate. Golden didn't lose one for three years.

Butch Davis is a real football coach.

Golden is an imposter.

Except Butch faced real sanctions and still fared better in his first 4 years here than Al. He went 8-3, 9-3, 5-6, 9-3
 
Calling the situations similar is like calling my game similar to Leonardo Dicaprios because we both like women.
