Yes, that's the rub. UM has had talent. Its recruiting rankings have been among the top 30. Yes, not in the top 5 or 10, but certainly better than FIU or Duke. The team has underachieved but produces NFL talent. Examples: Dorsett, Feliciano, Perryman, Jenkins, and now Homer. Something wrong in UM's coaching has squandered the talent on this team.

From 2007-2016 we had a ranking of top 15...then 2017 we had the number 12-13 class...then 2018 we had number 8 class.
More than enough talent....basically top 15 classes since 2007....
Coaching or lack of it is killing us.
We still have top 3 or 4 ranked amount of players in the NFL.
Besides the players you mentioned.. We have Njoku, Lamar, Duke, Chad Thomas,...**** even Gus Edwards....

Homer was a beast picking up blitzes last night. 49ers D was relentless and Travis was meeting them head on to buy Wilson an extra second or two. That alone will keep him on a 53 man roster long enough to get that 2nd contract.

On that final drive, it ****ed me off that Travis did all that work to help get them to the one and they brought in Lynch to try and score. Moot point as they got that delay penalty that moved them back to the 6.

Every time I see Homer on the field for Seattle he is making a good play.

There was one play in that final drive that even Collinsworth pointed out that Travis saw there was no one for him to block so he flared out into the flat and Wilson threw it to him for a nice gain.

Homer was one of the most under appreciated Canes in the last 10 years. The kid might not have been a top 5 back in the country, but he was ELITE ELITE in pass pro. We are now seeing how big of a deal that is.
