“The University of Miami is very concerned, because their home opener against Florida A&M will be played at FAU, and their Florida State game is scheduled for Oct. 8,” Goldberg added. “There are some who say the stadium may not be ready until November. The University of Miami doesn’t want to lose its home game against Florida State -- that’s a big payday for them and they’re already looking into the prospect of having to move that game to Orlando.

Dolphins? new stadium in ?a real dicey situation?

Sweet. Why don't we play in Marlins stadium if there's not a game there that day. Is it realistic? If I have to go to f'ing Orlando to watch "home" games somebody is about put me on a bus and drive me there and back.........with my cooler.

Reason I haven't renewed my tickets yet. How will they accommodate all of us? Free hotel room, transportation to game, what could they possibly do? Nothing is required by law cause tickets say subject to change but complete bull****

If the game is in Orlando will Miami still control tickets sales? That just sounds like an away game if not.

Also, if we play at FAU what happens with season tickets? I thought we have around 34,000 season tickets sold and if I'm correct isn't their stadium around 30,000 seats?

If this occurs this would be a major embarrassment for the program. We need our own stadium. So sick of this crap.

Can't wait to play in Orlando vs FSU....what an epic fail this is.

FYI if Miami played in Orlando UM could sell at 30k-40k tickets, there is a huge cane presence in central Florida. Not to mention the new Citrus bowl has amazing sight lines. When UM played UCF and U of L the Canes Fans showed up big.

Go Canes

Might as well play FAMU at Ted Hendricks or Traz Powell, Lol... Smh
If Sun Life isn't ready, play FSU at Marlins Park.
There's NO WAY under any circumstances should we play FSU in Orlando.
Worst case scenario, play it at FAU & only let FSU buy 3,000-5,000 tickets at most.

If this happens, all season ticket holders should get seats in the lower bowl. Then sell the remaining seats through UM. A lot of FSU fans would show up but at least they'd be up high.

It's more embarrassing to play in that baseball stadium than it is to play in Orlando.

I don't trust anything the Dolphins touch, so it could be true, but I'll wait until someone else reports this.

Only way they play the FAMU game at FAU is to move it from Saturday to Friday or Sunday.....FAU plays Southern Illinos at home on 9/03....

Lotta Nole fans in Orlando. That won't happen. They know that's not home field advantage AT ALL.

Dolphins have regular season home games on Sep 25th and October 9th. Where will they be playing? I imagine they'll have renovations completed before their regular season home games. If FAMU is played at FAU who cares I doubt more than 30K will show up anyway. And the stadium will be ready to go by FSU game.

I fairly confident the stadium will be ready to go for FSU to come get their **** kicked in.
