Man, I feel like we've already won, but I know we have a really serious game coming. I think Mario is gonna have to be really-extra-super diligent to keep the noise out now. What do you think? Is this an advantage or a disadvantage?

Miami plays in Miami. There are always distractions. It will be an advantage as I think the stadium will be at least 75% UM fans, and the other 25% will be too scared of catching a beating in the blue lot if they get out of line.

Vegas usually gives about 3 point advantage to being at home vs a neutral field. Lots of people go broke thinking they are nuts.

Not having to travel makes it a huge advantage. Though.. I wonder if we still get the per diem travel money.

One thing I'm watching is if Oregon/Indiana makes us wear our away uniforms on our home field. Since they're both higher seeds I'm pretty sure they get to make that call.

I remember hearing on some podcast, I think Cover 3 or something, that yes we would still get per diem travel money.

Could be wrong but I know I heard that somewhere.

Nope, I don’t. I believe no one knows this more than our team and Mario has them prepared for it. This last game and the way it played out with us almost losing due to self inflicted wounds, was the best preparation and lesson for the next 9 days.

The team knows exactly what can occur if they lose focus. Mario will use this win as a wake up call and cautionary tale for this week’s prep.

We would still be at home for at least a week before the game if it wasnt in Miami. Oregon and Indiana will also be at home being told they are best team ever. Our guys have been traveling a lot with 5 straight road trips and now they get a chance to sleep in their own beds and not hop on a plane for their next game.
