MAN UP SLURPERS AND SHOW YOUR FACES. GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY THIS GUY SHOULD BE CONSIDERED

Can we retire "slurpers" until/IF our next coaching hire sucks?

If Mario wasn't Cuban not a single person would be interested.
This is a fan base that seems to care more about how their coach looks than if he can actually coach.
Have no problem with Mario. A guy that was named National Recruiter of the Year, spent time under Saban to develop and coaches with energy. Also, would want to be at the school. Not saying he is the best candidate but wouldn't be an awful hire
"Spent time under Saban"
You do realize that actually means nothing. You have no idea if he learned anything and if he did if it would actually make him any better.
It's something that's should not be part of the consideration process.

how does it not mean anything?? its called a coaching tree and we of all people should understand how important that is. in reality nobody knows until he is out there coaching on his own if he learned anything but it certainly is something that is considered.

Like he said Recruiter of the Year, a guy that HS coaches in the area respect and think could do a great job
Knows Miami environement and politics and hes a guy with a big personality which is always appealing

You just said nobody knows until he is out there coaching!!!!!
The the point!!
Do you want to be the one to find out if he learned something or not?????
Steve walsh said cristobal has learned a ton from saban about how to run a program and etc. Said that's why he took the job at bama.
Walsh did say they need to give butch a look. He said if butch has the energy to turn it around and wants the job they should look at it.
