Holloman to UGA seems likely

Y'all really worry over everything. Richt used to always give package deals when its needed. Have you all already forgotten Sony and his brother?

I have a buddy that follows UGA recruiting very closely, told me that Corch Smart is offering Holloman's brother a preferred walk-on spot on the team and that they promised to "take care of him and his brother".

UGA people think that'll lock holloman brothers up for good.

Info is absolutely correct, he and brother are locks for Dawgs. Hope scholarship will cover bro plus preferred walkon gets some benefits also.

HOPE is an academic scholarship. And they've just raised the standards. Why are you acting as if HOPE is automatic?

Settle down

UGA doesn't have feathers. Sebastian does.

Big time player , if we don't find away to get his brother in the staff failed .

The problem with this and where it's gotta get real creative is his brother is a 2015 kid who has been out of school for a year. Tried judo & dropped out. Doing online now. Not sure we can get him cleared.

So the fact that his brother can't get his **** together, Holloman should cater to his brother so that he can hitch a ride on his brother's talent.

Whatever happened to being one's own self? Making decisions for you and only you?

If UGA can get him inand taken care of and we can't then we're set up for remaining an also-ran program. That would be a sign Rick doesn't have juice and that the school still doesn't give a fck enough about making the football program competitive.

Sometimes, you have to make an exception here or there to compete at high levels. If UM wants to remain UVA level in football then this is the way to do it. Why bother paying Rick all that money if you're still not willing to play the game?

so basically, no Holloman

Nah.were still looking good with him. This is just a possible wrench. When it all comes down to it well see if 4 years with best friends or 2 possible years with brother wins out.

Admissions has nothing to do with athletic department. All richt can do is get at frenk & see if an exception can be made.in alot of these instances the deal is simply getting the brother placed somewhere like a Marshall etc & Holloman coming.

Please stop acting like what you're saying comes from knowledge. Brother isn't even eligible for hope scholarship.not only was he a horrible student & a felon but he's also going into his second year out of high school.

Don't know the family and all thelse facts but:
Am I the only one who thinks the brother is a total Douche? He had his chance, he f**ked it up, and now he is limiting his kid brothers options so that he can get an easy way out.

How about trying to be a good example for once, by standing on your own two feet. Start at the bottom where you put yourself, put in your own hard, and grind your way back to the top. I realize the younger brother just wants to help his family, but sometimes that help is really enabling. The real help is to let them walk the long hard road themselves. **** shame.

Uga probably just playing the odds that the brother will continue to be a f**ked up, and they will get the scholie back soon enough.

Regardless no reason to bash that kid. Everyone makes mistakes. Let's hope it all works out in our favor. I'm all for seeing people succeed in life no matter what situation they may have been through

To be honest I would do the same thing for my brother

For this to even be a possible hiccup is problematic to me. People on this board have been discussing the potential brother angle for I don't know how long, and our staff doesn't already have that potential angle covered? Come on now. If true, all I can do is shake my head. Hopefully our staff knows whether securing the brother is truly make or break, and they've already planned accordingly.

Let this play out. Miami has an staff that has been in the SEC before. They know what they're doing in this situation.
