Holloman to UGA seems likely

Let this play out. Miami has an staff that has been in the SEC before. They know what they're doing in this situation.

Yeah a former SEC staff with no bagman. Their knowledge of SEC recruiting is useless without cash.

Big time player , if we don't find away to get his brother in the staff failed .

The problem with this and where it's gotta get real creative is his brother is a 2015 kid who has been out of school for a year. Tried judo & dropped out. Doing online now. Not sure we can get him cleared.

If UGA can get him inand taken care of and we can't then we're set up for remaining an also-ran program. That would be a sign Rick doesn't have juice and that the school still doesn't give a fck enough about making the football program competitive.

Sometimes, you have to make an exception here or there to compete at high levels. If UM wants to remain UVA level in football then this is the way to do it. Why bother paying Rick all that money if you're still not willing to play the game?

Admissions has nothing to do with athletic department. All richt can do is get at frenk & see if an exception can be made.in alot of these instances the deal is simply getting the brother placed somewhere like a Marshall etc & Holloman coming.

Tell Alabama and the other current power programs that admissions has nothing to do with the athletic department.

These are exactly the types of moves that power programs make in order to compete for championships. If UM is interested in competing for championships then we need to have everyone from Frenk down on the same page.

If Rick has any juice with Frenk then he can get this sort of stuff done with the snap of his fingers. If he doesn't, then they shouldn't have bothered paying a HC all that money.

For this to even be a possible hiccup is problematic to me. People on this board have been discussing the potential brother angle for I don't know how long, and our staff doesn't already have that potential angle covered? Come on now. If true, all I can do is shake my head. Hopefully our staff knows whether securing the brother is truly make or break, and they've already planned accordingly.

Exactly. If we lose him because of this brother situation then that's a big fail.

They better get on board or we will lose a lot of top battles. Ways around it than if last case send the kid to another Dade school that is close and pay up . We could work together with our neighbors by sending them lots of talent that doesnt work out in exchange for hook ups. Nothing wrong with this and i dont see how its not with in the rules. Heck we have about 20 kids we can give them for good faith.

They are public institutions in a joke of an academic conference. Other than Vanderbilt( who is a very good academic institution)& to a small extent Tennessee the entire conference is a joke as far as academic standards go. We are a private school with very strict academic standards. Only schools other than ivy leagues that are difficult like us I can think of is notre Dame & Michigan. Maybe Syracuse to a lesser extent.

Georgia is a pretty good school. It is ranked higher than TN.

Stanford, Northwestern, Duke, USC are all very good academic private schools

Michigan is a great example you just provided. Harbaugh could get anyone in there as long as they meet the minimum NCAA standards.

Spare me the prestigious academic talk. We've had some guys admitted to play football in the past who could barely read. You can still have a good overall academic reputation and admit football players that don't meet that standard. Your example of Michigan is a perfect one.
