Recruiting Scorecard:
ESPN 300 commits

LSU: 16
Georgia: 10
FSU: 10
USC: 10
Michigan: 10
Ohio State: 9
Clemson: 9
Ole Miss: 9
Miami: 9

miami is actually at 64%, ESPN still has kids like Henderson, Nelson and Hamilton in the class and they aren't even committed to Miami no more. So we should have 9 ESPN 300 kids and only 14 commits

we finally have COACHS in place not recruiters.. I truly believe that has been more of the problem then anything. The talent we have had has been elite. Just misused, look to the NFL for examples

is it true lsu has 5 of the top DT's committed? richt better fortify our trenches soon before that opener against them in a few years

Funny how LSU has a season where their HC is on the hot seat. Yet they have the most ESPN 300 commits committed to them. Bagmen must be working overtime.

Still a long way to go but I sure feel a **** of a lot better with a closer like Richt in charge

Even having top 300 commits gives you no assurance that you will have stud players but it certainly increases your odds exponentially of landing someone who is a difference maker like Deshaun Watson is.

The odds are in our favor going forward.

It certainly is a far cry from what Golden walked in to when he got here as far as the recruiting class. Someone like Richt should hit the ground running with a legit QB, plenty of talent on defense and a very good incoming recruiting class.

We'll see what he's worth with guys like Sam Bruce and Ahmon Richards. Richards would've given Golden the gas-face without question and Irvin would probably already be gone too. Let's see Richt work his magic down the stretch.
